Good because Snapdragon 821 chipset already belongs to mid-range devices
0.3", although not significant, will make a big difference in handling. Check the Z3 compact 4.6 vs they Z3 5", for example.
Also, if the screen to body ratio remain slightly under 80, then they are slimming the Bezels a bit.
I really hope they will use the SD660 or the SD630
Surficial, 01 Jul 2017Seems a bit too close in to the g6, only going to be a tiny bit smaller. If they keep G6's bezels, this Q6 will be 3 mm narrower and 7 mm shorter.
Another wasted oppotunity by LG. No dual camera setup pfff here's another LG phone i wont be buying.

Anonymous, 01 Jul 2017Rumors say Sony won't make Compacts anymore because they aren't selling well enough.Read this. http://www.gsmarena.com/sonys_...ws-25909.php
Jimbob, 01 Jul 20175.4" thats no miniConsidering the tiny bezel 5.4 should be equal to 4.7-5.0 so yes its mini
Force Majeure, 01 Jul 2017I remember when mini meant 4.3, 4.5 or 4.7". :-/I only remember that size is perfect size for phone claim by fruit company lol.. Their so call perfect size keep increasing.. hee hee.. from 3.5 till 4.7.. WTF..
noooo, it comes without a wide angle!! So disappointing! I was really waiting for this g6 mini version but now it's no use buying it((
Quite interesting. But hopefully at least the G6 didn't opted for the SD835, but instead for the SD821. At least this Q6 smaller size, will not decrease it even more. And so hopefully it will include the SD821 as well.
Anonymous, 01 Jul 2017Better to wait for Sony's upcoming compact phone with snapdragon 835 and 4GB ram.Rumors say Sony won't make Compacts anymore because they aren't selling well enough.
Anonymous, 01 Jul 2017as long as no MTK crap, i'd like a smaller G6As long is NOT the Snapdragon 625 is OK.
Some of you may know that, last year, LG released a handset called the G5 SE . It features a Snapdragon 652 chipset. This news article reminded me of said model.
