i was from malta and i bought this phone in france. I was stunningly amazed, yes indeed it has lot's of functions, 5MP Carl zeiss lens, wifi, gps, and has a amazing musical function it's a multimedia laptop. But truly the battery is not that bad. it lasted almost one day. Using wifi and that GPS. I recommend this phone to everyone. Your expectation in the battery life is absolute wrong.

i was eager to get this device, now since its release date is out, i cant wait to get one. only one issue though, i read somewhere that the gps bit in this fone does'nt works like other gps units available where you buy the maps and then use the service indefinitely, in n95s case, maps are free but i gotta pay subscription like charges every week/month. i tried to find more details but could'nt. can anyone help me where to find the charges etc?

I just went to training for N95 this afternoon, the prototype phone value is 5000euro but the official selling price is about 900euro i think, what the heck! Anyway this phone is awesome, it's worth with it's price.....function wise, it's superb. 9.5/10

n95 is just the best in the category 6 HSDPA terminals.I advise Nokia to put 2 or 3Megapixel video call cameras in their future phones.Keep it up NOKIA,I am now expecting handsets capable of full HSPA speeds (Downlink 14.4Mbps/Uplink 5.2Mbps) and the upcoming 3GPP LTE with peak speeds (Downlink 100Mbps/Uplink 50Mbps).

This is really an impressive phone, but upon release, the price of the phone would be equal to the price of a basic laptop or mid range laptop. So what do you prefer a LAPTOP(& ur present ordinary mobile phone) or just the Nokia N95. Well the choice is as simple as 123. If you have money & you dont know how to blow it off, then please go in for the amzing N95. But if you have a tight budget, then I am sure you are the right person to decide. & OOOPPPPPssssss I forgot the third option, well, if you have a tight budget and you are a die hard fan of N95, then the smart way out is to wait for 4 to 6 months after the phone is release & then buy if for half the price All the best. Have fun.

This is just one of the best phones under category 6 of HSDPA terminals,I would recommend nokia to put 2 or 3Megapixel video call cameras in their future generation handsets.Keep it up NOKIA,I am expecting more especially handsets capable of full HSPA speeds (Download 14.4Mbps/Upload 5Mbps) and the so called 3GPP LTE deployable in 2009 with peak (Download 100Mbps/Upload 50Mbps).

Photo & Video
"The close-up mode is especially impressive, auto-focussing but within a far tighter object distance. Photos have a lot of edge-enhancement and (probably) noise reduction, but the end result is quite pleasing, even if they're optically not that accurate... The much talked about 'Mars' effect only seems to rear its head when conditions aren't optimal, thankfully." -All About Symbian

what is wrong with so many of you? you sit and moan about handsets not having certain features, that you want x, y, and z on your phone, and then when a phone with most of these comes along, you moan about the price! it doesnt take a genius to figure out that more features = higher cost, its a basic rule that operates across our economy. why should mobile phones be any different?

cell trenz

- hi there, the reason why it runs slower than your treo is because if you compare the processor, it says that P990 has 208Mhz processor while treo has intel xscale 312Mhz one. and besides the treo doens't multitask applications unlike the P990. same with N73 in which it has 330Mhz processor too. S60 requires lesser memory than the UIQ 3.0 and i think that the memory is not enough yet on P990 (64Mb RAM) that's why it freezes and restarts in order to free up memory. but the applications run correctly in the P990, the problem why it restarts is because of the RAM management. try looking at the P990 thread.

for kenny I have the r9 firmware on my p990 and its still slower then my treo. And where did you get your satistics stating that p990 is running 90 per stable? Can you post the article stating this? Can i ask you a question how many phones do you go through within a year period, if you only use one or two phones per year you can't state how good your phone is better then others? Do you own a n series besides for the n90 or n91? And i have not experianced as much problems with nokia n73 music edition like my p990 even though my main business phone is mainly my treo. My n73 rarely freezes, it has better reception worldwide then the p990. Maybe its just me but i have alot of problems with my p990.

The features of n95 are packed and it has almost everything but too bad it doesn't look that good. It reminds me of dopod phones (pda phones). I wouldn't want to hold on to it. and another thing is, it costs like a laptop..

If you don't have extra cash, I wouldn't recommend this phone unless you need to use all the features. I wouldn't be impressed if someone show off to me this phone. It's not really that eye catching. Better to get other N series phone.

I see than SE and Nokia funs are in some kind of verbal fight. I was SE fan and I was using all PXXX SonyEricsson series. I alwas said that Nokia sucs, that Nokia is bad quality and I will never buy nokia again.

But now, I have seen N95, I have sell my P990i and I am waiting for N95. Never say never...

Btw. I am still fun of SonyEricsson and I prefer SE, but Nokia have made better phone and that's it. Also, I'm kind of sick of touch screens. No touch screen for me at the moment...
