Nokia finally starts shipping N95

Nokia finally starts shipping N95 - read the full textToday Nokia announced the start of the shipping of the awaited N95 5 megapixel smartphone in Europe, Asia and Middle East. Judging on our experience, the model can be expected within a week...

Finally, it will be interesting to see how well it actually sells. Hope it does well.

Oh, and Ben, I've got a N73 Music Edition and it works like a dream. But you have a point, smartphones are often buggy.

Glad it released at last, but lets wait to see how it sells an i am sure Nokia will be keeping a close eye on its demand as paying £500 for a mobile is alot of money,an if you have to pay to use the GPRS feature its more on the price,i would love to have one but i will not be paying that much for a mobile at all, some operators at first will be demanding top price but if it fails the price will be reduce quickly to get more people to sign up for the N95

This handset sounds fantastic.......on paper!! Just have a look in the N series section and look at how many people complain about their N Series unreliable software, and now they are just ramming even more stuff into it to go wrong. Just wait until retail staff stop selling the N95 cos its not worth their hassle because of the amount of returns etc ( I used to work in retail). Most of the staff I know won't sell nokia full stop, cos all they do I send them away for software upgrades which they don't get paid for and is a waste of their time!! I would love for this spec to come out on an operating system that was stable enough to cope with the crazy amounts of features on it!!!

Once again Nokia show's the world why they are number 1. I am a massive Sony Ericsson supporter, yet the N95 is a monster of a phone. All that technology packed in such a teeny frame is just outstanding. Could you just imagine what the successor to this awesome phone would be? Apple should stick to making mp3 players. They don't stand a chance in the Mobile world. Not with Sony Ericsson and Nokia out there.

look nokia always brings out new phone. its great. but i am not going to rush into anything which i might regret particularly with the most unstable N series. i will give it a couple of months before deciding to buy this phone.

Artficial Inteligence: They did make a new slimline model with scaled down features: The E65 and it is a fantastic phone.wipes the floor with any of Samsungs efforts (The E65 is still a smart phone)

The N95 is a wicked phone in its own right but having a short play with the E65 I was convinced that bigger is not always better, depends on personal choice really

why are they bringing out more nokia n series when half of the previous ones have been discontinued? the n80, n91 and n71 have all gone out the window. my n70 is in dire need of a software upgrade- it keeps freezing and not registering certain things. and yeah wow, it has a 5 megamixel camera and all these fancy features- firstly, who can actually afford it and secondly why is bigger always better? why cant they make a lekker slim phone with all these features? this one just reminds me of the old bricks that cell phones were when they were first introduced. samsung d900 anytime.

I'm a bit pessimistic about this. How will battery life cope? Will the phone be reliable?

Well I guess the Conqueror of the year has arrived. I have seen the specification of most of the mobiles present in this site and this one really rock as far as features are concerned.
Now lets wait and see if it really has some thing to offer.

Chaos.
