Anonymous, 07 Jul 2017oh boy they try again and this time they want money in advance haha :)
do you remember red 4k... moreIf you'd read the press release you'd know that you can cancel right up until shipping for full refund, giving any reason you like, or no reason at all.
Should the price rise beyond even madness or it turns out to be unsuitable for my needs then I will cancel.
Not surprised people haven't heard of Red. They are a niche digital cinema company, making high-end kit for pro cinematographers. This is probably the cheapest stand-alone kit they make.
Not pricey if it delivers what it claims. But there's not even a demo... I'm skeptical.
And guess what? There will be near to no "holographic" content compatible. This gimmick won't work. Let the N3DS handle your real 3D needs for 6-12x less and with a much broader range of content ALREADY available.
Depressed Individual, 07 Jul 2017Red? Never heard of 'em?Famous for their video cameras.

What a rubbish content and product. No demo, no images except for one crappy picture. And yet they are accepting pre-orders?
oh boy they try again and this time they want money in advance haha :)

to remind you it was delayed then delayed someone claimed they maybe saw it working once delayed few more times aaaand *pufff* vapour :)
thats a lot of courage from them
at least they can give the basic specs like soc ram camera etc.
at the moment you can be paying 1200 for snapdragon 210 with 1gb ram and 2mpx fixed focus camera and maybe a fancy 480p display
i feel sorry for the guy above he just wasted 1200 on his pre order
i hope atleast they refund you after 2years when you dont receive your order
Truth_Hurts, 07 Jul 2017Make a device that projects hologram for less than what they charged. If you can, people will ... moreThe truth hurts you, right? You are brainwashed by the marketing. Who needs a gimmick? I want useful features.
mrxa, 07 Jul 2017But did you need glasses to see it or did images seemed holographic? Yes and yes (I had it and... moreNot trying to slate you, just saying this appears to be a step above.
They're advertising/pricing it to be a step ahead above.
Surficial, 07 Jul 2017That's stereoscopic, meaning a 2D image for each eye.
This is supposed to be true 3d, not a 3... moreBut did you need glasses to see it or did images seemed holographic? Yes and yes (I had it and it was wild thing - for a while, until it didnt go old ;) ). Red havent explained what it will be so I presume that HTC did it first.
I am sure that it will be more advanced but only thing I say is that someone did it before...just that ;)
Old Fart, 07 Jul 2017Red kit has always had a (More than) somewhat militaristic look about it, you either like it o... moreHonestly I never heard about that brand until now. At least in my country nobody is talking about Red.
I have heard about many companies, but never about this one.
