Anonymous, 18 Jul 2017Disappointed, I thought it would be like nokia n9 design with edge to edge bezel-less displayDo you even know what bezel less means? Horrible protection and squishy phone. Even with gorilla glass 5, Samsung showed that bezels actually does a huge difference.
King Of Mobile camera is Back.I will buy it.whatever the price is.

To all nokia fans.
Well i suppose this is not a top flagship. Its an affordable flagship and nokia 9 is coming with a flagship design and at least 24 mp camera. Nokia 8 will be launched to compete with galaxy A series etc. Nokia will have something for all. So be patient, time will tell something special.
They should have gone for no buttons at all on the front, like Moto G5 plus and hence it could have looked more premium. Still, I believe this will be the new Nexus.
You know what, the leak of the Nokia 9 started in May whereas Nokia 8 is last year November!! Wow, the prototype I saw the Nokia 9 is actually Nokia 8. But hey, they should release the phone by 30th December 2017, globally!! India,China,Finland and London must go by September-November 31th
to all the idiots out there who believe nokia 8 has fingerprint sensor inside screen. just take a look at nokia 5 here..
nokia 8 and nokia 5 looks same from frontside..
After all welcome back NOKIA hope will have more specs which meet expectations and stand alone with other competitors like Samsung and Apple cause I feel it will on the track soon.
Fayth, 18 Jul 2017they have manage to put fingerprint reader on the bottom left corner of the screenman fingerprint sensor reside in home button... its a physical button
Boogieman, 18 Jul 2017Fingerprint in bottom left corner is actually quite clever. 2 reasons: - much more comfortab... morefingerprint sensior embedded into physical home button.. dont confuse with the screen (left bottom finger pic)
Really? That back design is as cheap as NOKIA 5, why would they price it around that kind of price? Ain't worth it unless build quality is like NOKIA 6
$690+ dollars, unless it has a massive battery I'd rather wait for a price-drop instead lol
I keep wondering why they never release battery specs with the others. And I guess that is the reason why they actually aren't selling as much as they wanted. Bc people in need of a new phone, goes for the ones that show their battery size.
Fingerprint in bottom left corner is actually quite clever.
- much more comfortable position for the thumb
- much better grip of the phone when putting thumb there than in middle (if youre right handed - but i guess you will be able to switch sides if youre left handed)
Could also be a trigger point to activate iris scanning
LuckyLukey, 18 Jul 2017Because not every flagship should have bigger number in everything. More importantly, how can ... moreIt's not because bigger is always better, it's because a bigger screen on a smartphone is de facto better. Better to read, to watch videos, to game, to everything.
