Sony Ericsson Xperia mini pro to hit O2 UK this June - read the full textSony Ericsson announced the Xperia mini and mini pro just recently and they were scheduled to hit the market in August. I've seen this phone in Carphone Warehouse with availability on O2 (But it is the Carphone Warehouse O2 contracts that are available. These differ from the ones offered in the O2 stores). Carphone Warehouse have the actual handset working on display in the Hanley Stoke-on-Trent Store (Thanks Vicky). However, there still doesn't seem to be any sign of the Xperia Mini Pro, as yet, direct from O2. I rang O2 customer serice on Saturday 10th Sept and they didn't have it in then. I'm just going to have to wait again. Was suprised to find the newer released phone the 'Xperia Ray' available on O2 website before the Xperia Mini Pro.

this phone has been out for over a year on vodafone so why are O2 taking this on now??

Have they forgotten the Xperia pro? I wish I could change my X8 immediately because it runs out storage to install more applications. Don't want my phone to be rooted whatsoever.

Things abt Exmor R sensor r still not clear.
Sometimes SE themselves mentions it and sometimes not, so it is still not decided.
And who told u that this phone doesn't have adobe flash 10.3 ??? Please don't make self speculations.
It has everything to incorporate adobe flash.
Same processor as Arc(1Ghz Qualcomm MSM 8255) with Adreno 205 GPU, android 2.3.3 and 512 Mb ram.
And if it wouldn't have adobe flash than many sites who did hands on review of this phone would have mentioned it. Everyone did the browser hands on review and no one said that this doesn't have adobe flash.
So it indeed has adobe flash.

It always amazes me how often manufacturers make a phone and then simply 'reinvent' the exact same device in a mini version with only little to no changes other than pressing it into a smaller housing.

The following question should be allowed: Why didn't they make it small inj first place? :-)
