AnonD-4697, 20 May 2011Just look the numbers in the SITE
1. Nokia 5800 XpressMusic 15,175,407
2. Nokia N8... moreSorry to intrude, but I'm looking at the top 7 brands by ratings on GSMArena.com ... Could you kindly point to me where exactly is NOKIA on that list please?
Thousands of voters just can't be wrong now, can they? ;)
AnonD-2663, 21 May 2011The only reason I chose an N8 over a WP7 device is because the current offerings are crap (htc... moreWell, that's the best they can do for now. They still don't have a device ready so the best they can do is to release some juicy tidbits and hope it will make news. Like they say, any publicity is good publicity.
I can't do without my Nate (N8) FM transmitter is a must. I hope they include this feature in the future models.
The only reason I chose an N8 over a WP7 device is because the current offerings are crap (htc, samsung,LG - no thanks. By the time I next have to upgrade my handset Windows phone will have matured nicely.
nokia pls stop talking this and that. show how this and how that. market need fast to compete . do it quietly like apple and fast like samsung.
Nokia have to go down so that, they will learn sense.
Do u know why nokia didnt use 1500mah battery on N8? whiles it can extend battery time.
Do u know why nokia didnt use 1ghz processor on N8? Whiles it can sells the N8.
I dont think nokia can come out with something better.
It was long time that nokia got to know that symbian cant support resolution higher than 640x360, but they did nothing about it. It will be easier to rewrite symbian to support 1280x720.
Nokia has caused symbian downfall. Symbian is counted down because it is running on low processors, ram, resolution.
If symbian can run fast on low processors and ram, then why dont u put it on high processors and ram so that it will be the fastest.
by the time they release their so called as good as galaxy s2 processor, Samsung will reach to the next level. as i see, Samsung are too fast, too quick, too cunning.
i hope Nokia catches their speed with the new windows phone 8 atleast as for windows phone 7, is too complicated to sync and to download.
we need something snip! easy. that's where Android kicked every one's aasses.
mai 400 ?!!!!! thats the biggest possible move for nokia . wow
rebel, 20 May 2011nokia this, nokia that, nokia bla bla bla and we have still nothing in the hands also like ms,wp... moreTough this is a matter of persomal opinion i have to disagree with you WP 7 is not one of the worst os right now it is actualy one of the best(right up there with Android)
nokia this, nokia that, nokia bla bla bla and we have still nothing in the hands also like ms,wp7 getting old and still is weak os,i would say the worst at the moment.elefants asleep!

[deleted post]i know but what do use to give support after the roof concrete is done????
Offcourse...win phone 7 is fluid operating system...but i think that its not as cool as android....we need the vast app store provided by android...by the way mango update and win phone 8 seems good...but nokia must concentrate on app store
AnonD-5197, 20 May 2011I have never owned a Nokia device because I gained interest in mobile market after Nokia went ... moreWell I'm agree
Nokia is not the BEST of class, but has the respect of all others...
Even in reviews Motorola, Samsung and even Apple admit the will be happy if their own devices had te impact of Nokia brand name....
However Nokia need innovation, maybe this WP7 or 8 will be the extra fuel Nokia need to get a pump on their devices...Symbian was good, but WAS, now is just a plain OS to everyday use.
Meego...I really don't now if will see the day light soon, WP is the way to go for now...let's see the N9, X8, C8 and the new W series how will be handled by the market...
Ashura, 20 May 2011But that´s just my point Android phones don´t need full HD recording,HDMI or a 12 ... moreWell, it all boils down to preference I guess. You want flashy, fast UI, enjoy your Android. But I prefer a feature-rich, solidly built phone so I'm sticking with my N8 until Nokia announced a successor.
Good luck Nokia.
AnonD-5197, 20 May 2011Read carefully... "I tried them in numerous occasions." Don't tell me I'll grow int... morewell sorry i didn't knew that n8 had 4 million shipments i just googled it now. I just hope n9 would have some good sales figures
