I think global means it can be used outside of japanese network? Not Sharp will globally make it available...but still I almost faint and cried of happiness until I read the very vague statement. Selling Japanese phones outside of Japan would definitely help boost their economy. :>

Sharp has released quite a number of phones in China the past year but none of them is available outside china. This statement means nothing.

> In reply to Ashura @ 2011-05-24 20:32 from MA%X - click to readAQUOS is a series of phone by Sharp.
There are both bar phones and clamshell ones in the series.
Just like the SH-12C is a bar phone while 007SH is a clamshell.

Seems like the term "Global" appears to be the phone will be available in China also, not only Japan.

WAIT A SEC....
That phone in pic is SH-12C with 1.4GHz processor and dual 8MP cameras.
It was already released in Japan on 20th May.

GSMArena come on how can you be sure the global AQUOS phone is 16MP as written in title? There aren't even specifications or model name!!!

Cool, but they should have released the flip phone too. There's already enough touchscreens around. :-(
