So get as many friends on your BBM & start BBMing them so that you do not have to SMS & this way you will save some bucks. I am in India & I use Vodafone's INR 399 plan that gives me unlimited usage. Let me put it into perspective. e.g you use Yahoo messenger but you do not need to pay for it however you pay for your internet connection. Similiarly you do not pay for BBM but your mobile service provider.

For my First BB (Storm)it took me one whole day to understand without any manual. My second BB (Curve) it took me 60 mins to learn. Third BB (Bold) 50mins. Fourth BB (Pearl) 30 mins. Can't wait for this one to launch so that I can beat myself. So BB pls do not launch any tutorials otherwise where is the fun in it.

However you mostly see Bold & Curve coz they are the beat selling ones are signature BB handsets. While Bold is a hardcore business ph. the Curve is targeted at get younger clientle.

For a low or middle pf thr range messenging device i think it looks amazing, smooth interface and finally coparable to ios and android
