I've just sold my iPhone 3GS, and switched to Android, not because I disliked it, but because I wanted to try out the competition... "Don't knock it unless you've tried it!". Notification bar, and Widgets are a bonus in Android, but not a deal-breaker. I do miss the iPod feature, as all music/playlists etc already neatly configured... Oh well, I'll give the 'Droid a few more months, by then, the next iPhone will be out with iOS5, and I can decide whether to switch back, or stick to being on Android.

You lot never cease to amaze me, you want control over over your iPhone you want to put things omit and make it do what YOU want to do. Then JailBreak the bloody thing! Android have to be rooted to become open and iPhones have to be JailBroken. Think is a JailBroken iPhone is far far better than any unjailbroken phone can ever be. All the reviews people read about iPhones are reviews on a out of the box iPhone, NEVER a jailbroken one. My iPhone 4, jailbroken :) is stable, fast can do everything I want am more. I can loads download movies over WiFi I can move and add or delete files on my phone over WiFi. Music films apps you name it.
Oh and I sold a Samsung Galaxy S 2 to buy my IPhone 4 because even though the Sanny was DAM fast it just didn't run the Internet as smooth as an iPhone, was a little jittery, and the samsund apps on the phone didn't work either. So I lost interest. So there you have it. iPhone all the way. Just make sure you jail break it first!

I will get another WP7 but this time a Mango one, Apple OS is cool but has too many restrictions and Android aside to WP7 looks primitive and boring :(

After several years of using HTC, 7 month ago I bought an iphone 4, I am sure this is my first and last phone from apple and surprised I dont have the control on my own stuff on the iphone everything is controlled by apple!!!
it gives you no option to manipulate your own stuff on your device; it says IOS 5 is coming it is just the name while nothing significant will be changed.
I have got three stereo Bluetooth from famous company non of them is working with apple iphone 4 while all of them are working perfectly alright with other phones
thanks

This sounds interesting. But I know what it'll be. The same non customizable home screens, that needs to be jail broken to hav
e any real use. I think ill pass this time. I bought the iphone 4 on contract. the whole while on contract and had over a year of terrible reception due to the antenna.

On the other hand, my friend has a desire hd, and that was really nice to use, I love the weather and wipers.

good thing about Apple is they research, test and then release a product h/w or s/w, rather than release and then send updates to fix the issues reported by the end-users

Everyone seems to have short memories here, so take a snapshot of today. Then watch as iOS 5 is announced how some features will magically appear on Android lol.
