I thought that n8's purple tint was a small problem but it resulted in loss of so many sales including the use of symbian rather than android. Now this problem will also grow large after some days just like the n8

> In reply to [deleted post]ya i know that gsmarena told that its a small issue but n8 too has purple tint like this has yellow tint, which was also unnoticable for most of the times but still it had its impacts on the sales. People want perfect phone with less bugs or defects if the specs are also low they won't care, all they need is a solid good phone with no bugs. And this is also going to be a major issue cuz this problem can't be fixed by the software update as its a defect in hardware. All you need to do is to increase the brightness level to hide the tint but the AMOLED screen's life may be shortened.

this is a total mess up in my opinion, and its actually quite apparent in my phone, I am returning mine, as this a fault, no one should keep their phone till they sort it out.
go and get your money back or get it sorted, its totally unacceptable.

Oops!
All the facts goes to toilet eh!
Samsung is not as good as people thinks and they dare to blame and spills on Nokia's problems, they have their own...
Now I want to have an SG2 to make my own test but it seems thousands of users with this same problem can't be wrong? or are they?...
And too many blog sites to count reporting the same problem...
This is a kick in the ass for Samsung pride, no matter what's going on on future this will cloud Samsung reputation....too bad for them
And pay +700 dlls for this...duh! I will stay better with an C7....People better wait for the W series :P

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2011-06-01 18:14 from 3ZQE - click to readIt's still defective. At the end of the day, no matter how much tech is under the hood, it's still defective. Add over saturation, high chance of getting images burnt in, and this yellow defect and you fandroids can no longer claim this screen as the best in the market.
Nokia CBD is better than this overrated, defective Super Amoled by Samsung.
