Gsmarena,if you look at it closely, the top right and bottom left are the areas with the yellow tinge. Its cause of the the back lighting in those areas

Sure he cannot confirm it, only Nokia can, but Nokia has not provided an detailed explanation regarding that. That means there's no one else other than Nokia themselves to be blamed. That's why they are quiet.
Nokia fanboys are just blatantly blaming Samsung for whatever Nokia messes up. "Samsung supplies all the displays so its Samsung's fault" LOL you think its just easy as that ?
Tested on the provided "gray page" with no problems. Gor my GT-I9100 from T-Mobile UK last month.
The phone is getting HOTTTTTTTT though whenever I play or multitask hardcore. Anyway, coming from Samsung Omnia HD - it kicks AZZZZZZZ

If I can live for 9months with my Nokia N8 even with the purple tint noticeable at 100% then I believe I can live with SGSII even if it has the yellow tint.
BTW I tested three today and only one had the yellow tint which is only noticeable at about 10%-20% brightness especially in a dark room but he cannot even see it because he does not use his phone at that low brightness level.
the affected sgs ii was on KE2 while the two unaffected were on KE7.
I will buy this phone as soon as i sell my Nokia N8

And NO the purple display in N8 was because of Nokia themselves not Samsung. Nokia tried to do the driverchip themselves but messed it up.
Looks like you Nokia fanboys are much more concerned about it than the real galaxy users. When was it the last time you heard an SGSII user complaining about the screen in this topic here in GSMarena?
