Well guy'z...i already check e price..it's about sgd 700+ to 800.
It's a good phone indeed...conparable to N95.Slimmer & slick. It's a part of family for N91,6300,8800 due to it's body frame & different kind of design. But only lack of wifi,bt e coolest thing is that it's able to store memory up to 4gb.Most important is ,the software must nt lack or slow when doing multitask.

I think ur right... I've experienced that too with my S60 phone... However, nokia should find a way to address S60 problems.. because S60 phones are open to new innovations and many of like to try something new...

S40 is fine IMO because this IS a mid-range mobile (6500 slide that is). This isn't N-series nor is it meant to be a smart phone so much as a stylish feature phone.
One problem that Nokia has had for a long time is that they haven't had virtually no models for those people who buy Samsung Sliders and Motorola RARZs. Sure, Nokia has cheapo basic mobiles and fancy smart phones, but what about people like me who want good features wrapped around a stylish package that doesn't cost over 500 euros.

Just when i thought, nokia is at its best these days... after launching phones like N95, E65, and in mid range phones 6300.. Nokia has proved itself again by expanding its porfolio with these 6500 series....
my personal choice would be 6500 slide, i just wished it was running Symbian OS 9.2, S60, then i would not think twice before getting dat phone!!
cheers!

such a piece of beauty wasted by nokia . why did they put series 40 in this . had it been a series 60 phone it would have been one of the most awaited gadget .

The 6500slide is d best, to me its nicer that the n73 or so...but for the classic version, i prefer the 6300, which i have, the only thing in the 6500classic is that its uglier and has a flash

guys, read through the articles and don't look at the pics only. questions like "how much will it cost and when does it come out" show how st..id some people are!

it is getting strange. y it does not support the expanding of memory. phones are great with large memory or rather those which are applicable for expanding. it should be implemented in those upcoming phones. both 6500 claasic and slide looks fabuluous. but... its memory... i quite disappointed man!
