I cannot believe they really let out this phone with that strange design.. When I saw spy pics, I could not believe what Im seeing, but Im seeing it right now.. The next most popular camera phone looking so strange.. Well, I have my sony s700 digital camera, and I dont need any ringing cameras so I just stay with everything i have and leave my k850 to somebody else ;D

kEiThZ:

Why compare to N95? N95 is a high-end smart phone and in a totally different market. K850 will compete against devices such as N73 and N73's imminent successor. Even the Nokia 6500 will be stiff competition as it will be priced at a decent level which may sweep up the mid-range market.

K850 doesn't offer much more than the K800/K810 so colour me underwhelmed.

This is an N95 KILLER FOR SURE...EXACTLY BECAUSE ITS NOT AS GOOD AS THE N95.

Here in Canada the N95 is selling for nearly CA$1000. I don't know anybody who is willing to pay that much. I dont think most people need or are willing to pay for all the features the N95 has. Most people want a good phone, a decent media player and a good camera. Features like GPS are not essential to most people.

I suspect that this phone will retail for around CAD 600-700 when its released, or below CAD 300 on contract. I suspect it will be the same in the US. At these price points, it will be far more popular than the N95.

For Nokia fans....I predict an N95 price cut......

What about video? still in Qcif I bet. And there is apparently no softkeys, and the screen is too tiny in comparison to nokia Nseries 2,4inches and far from N95's 2,6 inches. I think it's a good phone but not the N95 killer I expected from S-E.

The K810/K800 already has a better camera than the N95 despite having only 3.2MP. This K850 will trump it easily.
