The Nokia Connection 2011 event is still going on and CEO Stephen Elop just announced on stage that that the existing Symbian ^3 devices will be getting the Symbian Anna update in July.
This includes the N8, C7, C6-01 and E7. All the new devices from July onward will ship with Anna pre-installed...

Nokia will start shipping the current bunch of Symbian^3 handsets (N8, E7, C7, C6-01) with Symbian Anna pre-installed beginning from July. Existing Symbian^3 handset owners need to wait until the end of August, to download the update for their handset. Yeah, that’s how Nokia respects its loyal users

inspite of all the android/iOS fanboys, Symbian is still one of the better mobile OS out there.
Yes I know we don't have as many apps, or live wallpapers or Dual core monsters, but maybe we don't need the eye-candy?
My E55, at 600Mhz, is snappier than my neighbor's HTC Desire, does turn-by-turn nav, has a battery that lasts on an average 5days MORE than a Desire, and at 9.9mm is still sleek enough to fit into my pocket.
Animated weather widgets...I'll pass.

When your 1GHz, dual core monster phone has something useful like turn by turn navigation, office document editing, world-wide 3G support, multitasking, and a camera that doesn't suck, then I might consider it as an alternative to the N8.

Will Anna resolve some of the bugs in Nokia E7, like extremely sensitve touch screen,drop calls. I have the E7 and loving it but Im concerned about the little bugs. Thanx
