i wish we get this on galaxy tab, but the way gingerbread is rolling then honeycomb 3.2 wouldn't be ready before end of year which is time for icecream sandwish to be released,, so seems pointless to me!

> In reply to Arnie @ 2011-06-21 16:27 from mX}p - click to readthe guy had a good point up until he claimed nokia was best.
he was correct that you cant compare android against nokia.
people need to remember that android isnt always good it all depends on its variation which depends on the manufacturer. for instance imho samsung has done a great job with android but alcatel hasnt.
people do need to wake up and stop hating brands a device/OS is only good if the end user finds it easy/useful but every1 has diff tastes so for me one iteration of android might be terrible but to some1 else it might be amazing.

Rams:"...Apple IOS doesn't make older iPhones into junk that easily."
Yeah, that is what I love about iPhones. In 2 months a new iPhone4 16GB black version will have a 100EUR price drop to 550EUR (Apple standard), but if you want to buy a new Samsung Galaxy S 8GB version in two months it will cost you around 250EUR (that is a 300EUR price drop from the original price in june 2010!).
And 99% of those Apple haters forget about that when they complain how Apple is ultra expensive and you can get 2 Android phones (HTC Wildfire + Samsung Ace) for one iPhone, but forget that those two phones are NOT in the same league as the iPhone.
Think people, don't just mindlessly hate a brand! And if you want to hate a brand you can just hate most of them because no CEO cares about you, only about your wallet and his paycheck! :S

They use a Samsung processor with a PowerVR GPU.

Samsung already announced that the first Galaxy Tab won't get any HoneyComb update. So it'll stuck on Android 2.x

It seems Google thinks that people would be bored of the same breakfat, unless a new item is released. Nice way to empty the pockets of tech enthusiasts. Remember, Eclair is hardly 2 years old. Then, we had Froyo andgerbread, whereas, Apple IOS doesn't make older iPhones into junk that easily.
