i just updated my e72 OTA. No hard or soft reset needed. Here are the changes i have noticed so far:
-improved performance and stability
-improved browser
-improved sound quality through the earphone/headset
-addtion of emoticons
-faster typing in message(dznt skip letters as it used to)
-new open app icon

the e72 is the best phone for both business and if ur js an ordinary user.
Nokia did it again! :-)

i just updated my e72 from v54 to v71.004 and these are the changes i have noted so far:
-improved performance and stability

-improved sound quality through the earphone/headset

I just updated my e72 from v54 to v71.
So far, these are the changes i have noticed:

-emoticons are added
-faster typing (letters arent skipped lyk before when u type rly fast)
-small icon when an app is open
-browser is more faster, although i am not sure if it has tabbed browsing or not
-faster performance and improved stability

-to increase ur fons performance, plz take out the sim, battery n mem card for a min or two atleast 1ce a month. (sum1 posted this one a while back thank you. It works)
-free up the phone memory as much as u can.. Try not to go below 100MB atleast.
-free up the ram by closing unwanted apps

Hard reset not required in my case...may depend on your handset.

There's one come out for n97 mini v30.0.004, but my phone says that it's incompatible :( Will have to install it manually

I have 5230 in my phone i update software update section and it says phone software version 50.000 available but phone says update via pc i think download file may be large.
Plz help.

I have updated my 5230 today...browser still sucks...I have opera 6 which is much better and faster and easy to use. Nokia should learn something from androids here...
However, other changes are welcome....very nice. even I can unlock my phone with out using the mechanical slider. I just need to push menu key and a new interface with a huge clock and slider to unlock come on the touch screen, which is nice as the mechenical slider in my phone has some problem....not much improvement in performance though....

I updated my Nokia E5 yesterday evening. Its far more responsive than it was before. Fast fast. Good work Nokia.
