Diversity, that's what's I enjoy from the market at this point in time. I give a rats ass about who is better or who sells more or who has the most % of marketshare. Options is at hand to go and find the right phone for your needs and enjoy it. Android,BB and symbian all have pro' and cons.I have a BB torch now but my next phone will be...... Who knows, time will tell.

"boring os" lol, what can be boring in os it's not a game :D
maiby expensive android smartphones are good, but not those who are cheaper
look at ace, it sucks (plastic crap, low res. screen, e.t.c.) even that range nokias are better (nokia n8 )

Rim and there blackberry phones have completely taken over what was once a predominantly Nokia market in my country in just 3 short years (I don't have any hard numbers but from just observation it'pretty obviously) they're everywhere now.

> In reply to sarosh @ 2011-07-07 07:05 from tZtm - click to readsymbian might be boring to little kind
but its not slugish
also note how many models of android phones are out there
and how many symbian^3
more that 300 androids here on gsma (of course, there are a lot more)
and 6 s^3... so its expected for android to have at least 60% of market. but it doesnt and it shows the os weakness

Those of u(fandroids) against symbian. Here's a news flash 4 u.Symbian is still better dan android in some ways. For xample:symbian supports java program(i.e it has jre) and it runs very smoothly supporting m3g(mobile 3d grapics),jsr-75etc nd many advanced java profiles thus improving its flexibility, infact nokia's symbian devices has d best java runtime.Unlike android which depends on some BUGGY java emulator in order 2 b able 2 support java programs.Dis is just one of d numerous ways in which symbian is better..

> In reply to arabi @ 2011-07-07 11:00 from t}4Y - click to readI have an N8 and it is a great phone, the samsung galaxy s have a crappy camera with no autofocus and the video is like a $30 dollars nokia phone video.
I tried both, there are not great differences in functionality but great differences in price in fact all about video and picture and the editing of video and picture is better in the N8... another thing, if you want a comparable video you better buy a Samsung galaxy s2 wich doubles the price and still not better non in video non in pic. For me it was clear.

Can't beat the heat of BB; BB is the best and will remain best. Most of the people buying mobile just a fun; there is never a solid use of mobile. BB experience is awesome; Loving it since day 1.

Symbian and nokia are nowhere in the race.nokia ruled in the past because we had no other option.it continoued to create crap untill it got competion from samsung.i used both nokia n8 and galaxy s and believe me n8 is nothing in compare to galaxy s.Nokia needs to wake up now.

People keep writing off RIM in America when in fact their global market share has never decreased and is in fact increasing! I think ill keep with Blackberry cause its a lot safer to use especially at the rate Android is targeted by Malware! BB is known for its security and fast emails and in my opinion having a flashy os does not a good smartphone make!
