Samsung G600 with 5 megapixels

It doesn't look like the g600 has 3g and if you zoom in on pictures you can definatly tell it is some sort of light sensor!
I don't think video calling is neccessary anyway it's a waste of money if you ask me.
P.S I totally agree with the comment below! I'm glad someone thinks the same way!

Another example of what Samsung do well... a decent 2.5G handset without an operating system giving you the specs of so-called 'high end' models like the Nokia N95 without the compromise in stability and usability for calls. Also bearing in mind that Samsung are the MASTER in moving form factor handsets; why did flip phones become iconic? Samsung A300. Why did sliders become popular? Samsung D500... sure the D500 wasn't the first, but it was the first really popular one (before people remind me of the Siemens S55)... and the G600 is the next step... the design is like the E900 without the downside of the touch sensitive keypad...
Just FYI... the N95 will never be as stable and dependable as a Samsung with closed OS... and this may be released later than the N95, but at least Samsung think their handsets out rather than releasing ugly bricks that are only good for doorstops within a short time. Also the D900 and U600 are TOO thin and so screens break too easily... it's a FANTASTIC thing that this won't be as slim as either of them.
Cheers.
Dave.

Then you should ask yourself what the heck that thingy on the top, which looks like a cam.
Somebody mentioned that could be light sensor.
To my knowledge Samsung doesnt have light sensors like that in their models so far.

I've read that Samsung were very behind Sony Ericsson. That's very big silliness. IF Samsung were so behind then why they are SECOND on the worlds cellphone market and continue to increase their share? Think clear! Many started to be jealous of the good Samsung phones.

GUYS take note: Users are content with what mobile handsets have to offer in terms of photo quality and are looking for improvements in the video recording department. The Samsung G600 promises to deliver CIF (352x288) resolution recording at full 30 fps, while at the same time it will be able to record even in VGA (640x480 pixels) resolution, but most probably not at 30 fps.
to the person who posted that G600 records VGA in 15fps, take a look to the article: "most probably not at 30 fps", so meaning it could be 30 fps and not a definite 15 fps. suit yourself.

Nothing impressive. Small screen, just like the K850, neither of those phones can participate in N95's single race. And yes, I've got one.

I think Samsung is good enough, but Sony Ericsson has stolen my heart :) , this phone is too classy for me! I prever simple and smart design like SE.
