Yep, Z720 is of course a 3G phone. And yes, all Z-models are 3G at least up to this date.
I agree that none of these models are killer-models but I have great belief that they are on their way too.

Realistically... how many people use video calling? The fact that the E900 and D99 were so popular suggests that there are still people out there who would like a good reliable handset and aren't too bothered about data or video calling... Samsung aim their products by and large at simple consumers and the REAL technical people who realise that the likes of the Nokia N series are unreliable little toys despite their high specs.

The new P series handset looks interesting, but every other handset based purely on touch so far has been pretty crap... see what happens...

I wonder whats happening with the news article and the pictures associated with it.
Samsung Z720 definitely a 3G phone. All Samsung "Z series" are 3G phone. Then why the article claims there are no 3G phones in this release?
There are same confusion for G600. Picture doesnt match with the article.

I'm quite disappointed with samsung. none of the handsets support 3G which is almost becoming a standard today.

z720merc edition has been out for the last two months and it is 3g it is 3.5g even as it has 3.6mbps data speed (at maxium)
