I am from kolkata. Till today i didn't get any upgrade notification for that htc desire Z mobile.

Just got the update last night OTA for my UAE desire Z. It went smoothly. I felt the big difference, its 3x faster than froyo, it stops unused running apps much automatically faster, and I like the better organization of All Apps window. Thanks for the update as I really need the android with physical keyboard which I only see in desire HD. Of course the only disadvantage that this has no front camera. This is really good for IT engineer like me who needs VPN and Telnet functions for work.

How do you update? I have clicked System software updates and it says "There are no updates available for your phone" :(
Android is still at 2.2.1

Today I could update my Desire Z to 2.3.3 Gingerbread. I couldn't see much differences, but it's awesome.

This will include the T-Mobile G2 right? I mean they are pretty much the exact same thing. It better include the G2. T-Mobile kicked it to the curb HTC better not forget about it too.

Guys this phone is my best phone ever i do everything with internet navigation online radio nice hd videos very smooth not once crashed amazing amazing must say my best htc so far
