wow! i love the design! definitely much better than K850i! But i hope the video is VGA 30pps.. i wonder what nokia & motorola would cater against with G800 & k850i.

This phone if is wat its claim to be. it is gonna be a good one. but the sad thing is it is coming out too late and we still unsure of its video capability. SaD... i am waiting SAMSUNG...

G800 will be better than k850 in a sense that its design is better, and the optical zoom.

Samsung makes phone after phone with crapy connectivity. Why buy a Samsung phone if you’re not trapped in the past millennium when you would do much better to invest your money in a modern phone with not only medieval GSM technology!!!

yes the release date we have been given is 19/11/2007.
this sometimes changes due to testing issues but we very rarely have problems with the samsung handsets so the release date is very accurate.

Ah so now a 'good' phone is defined by the nuber of megapixels it's camera has...
Well just for your information even if you have 1242323 megapixels, it just says something about the image resolution. If you have a bad lens (which phone camera's have) you still get bad pictures.
So dont stare at megapixels, look at the phone as a whole :)

in competion with the w850i?how do you work this out Kulbir ?
the w850i has a 2mp cam,no auto focus,no xenon flash and is primarly a Walkman phone.
still good(i have it )but it is nearly 1 year old
