I have friends switched 3 to 4 iPhone 4 due to its defectiveness. Apple also seems to be quite generous on their defective to new phone replacement policy.

> In reply to killachandra @ 2011-07-27 17:48 from 2STH - click to readHey, the overheating problem is mainly caused by some of the not modified applications, i had this confirmed by playing a graphic intensive game, and one with moderate graphics .. the moderate graphic one got the phone overheating, mainly i think bcz it was not modified to take advantage of the dual core CPU, so it had the 2 cores run at highest clock at all times. (moderate graphics =medival castle, graphics heavy=Diversion) while the graphics heavy game was optimized.
for wifi signal i admit its not the strongest i've seen, but its pretty much decent. however it does have a deathgrip, that's when u have the back cover covered by ur hand.
the battery is pretty decent, u have alot of options to customize battery management. and u can get at least 3 days with minimal use ( i tend to spend it with one day). i had played 6 hours of continous video ( wifi off, headphones on, lowest brightness) and it only managed to spend 40 % of my battery life) so the battery problem is caused by the not optimized applications IMO).. these are the only negatives about this phone IMO, but it has many positives. it has the most beautiful screen on the market, and the screen by itself is a reason to get this phone.
Microsoft managed to tip the scale to her advantage with the Mango update, but i still believe GS2 is a better phone.
personally i couldnt be happier with my purchase. and i hope u would make a purchase that would make u happy. if u have any more questions i am more than willing to give u unbiased answers. :)

> In reply to Nokia Rules @ 2011-07-27 19:21 from kJX3 - click to readI'm still debating to root it. I like the TouchWiz4 and I already set up the phone so I'm kind of hesitant. Rooted phones get 5 days of battery as opposed to 2 days, so one day I'll get off my lazy butt and back up the apps and root it.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 -I am really disgusted with this phone battery life. The battery only last for a day an a single charge. Secondly the WIFI sucks. I had my brand new Samsung Galaxy only for 2 days after that i had it replaced with another brand new units and the phone does the very samething. Very Very disturbed with this as Samsung is running wild with all their adverisments??? Durban South Africa

For a phone that costs here in Portugal about 550 euros saying it is "popular" ...hey common it's more 100 euros than the minimum wage here!

Boss, i was really (like Crazy) interested in this phone, b4 which i was looking out for Windows Mango, but after hearing lots of stuff like, poor battery, badly overheating, and worst wifi signals got me cold feet. now am again wavering and thinking of waiting for nokia windows or some other mango phone. please confirm if the issues has been addressed or do they really exist in the 1st place?
