can anyone tell me that update is available in India or not . I have tried PC companion it is showing information is not available .

Sometimes if you buy the phone which is contracted to certain service provider, then it is up to them to release the update.

If all failed, then it is better to pop in to your local phone shop who can do the update for you....here in Kuching they charge RM10 to help. And also remember to back up all data in your phone.

waiting here in nz for update, its available on x10i / vodafone but not x10a as per XT, anyone got any ideas when its coming onto XT?

The 2.3 GINGERBREAD update is AVAILABLE in INDIA it rocks on XPERIA x10, thanks SE, great work..!!

it happened to me too when i knew the update is already available.
Try this....connect the cable to your phone first...then connect the cable to the PC. Then the software update screen should pop like the last update.

Makesure your internet is on and your battery is fully charged.
