Old website was much better. This looks foggy.Anyway, we have to move forward. Now i come to know that, how room is created for competitors by the giants.

i was thinking of posting comments on new looks many days today here it is "New look is totally disaster,it looks backward compared earlier Gsmarena look(which was 10 years old).Previous look has Royal Red and golden brown colour combination which looks great.New skin has only one "Red text" Everything else is from B/W era.
Logo is also not looking great.Look at the lower left logo colourize it ant put it in place of main logo.Main logo appearance is like "candy style" icon while the logo at lower left has more solid feel.
*why there is no sing up option with email id.i have no facebook account.

Another comment. The GSM-Arena logo is hard to see. Maybe you should make the gray bar with the logo more noticeable (at the top).
Also too much white and gray in the phone-company names on the left. :X

The background of the title bar is not good as it is in Mesh Style. The headings are thin and large. Not so good.

The site still has that 'Retro' looks in it... perhaps that's been done intentionally!
Anyways.. change is always refreshing :-)

I liked the old one better, the phone specs fields were all aligned properly and it doesn't seem to load much faster than the old version.

I'm flipping through an unclosed GSM Arena homepage that I had open a few days ago and the current homepage... I must say that I much prefer the old one (don't give me 'change is good'). This newer version is much too cluttered, the font is really not appealing and the old colour scheme was nicer. Not to mention, the logo change was quite a downgrade because now it looks really tacky.
I'm not hating... I've been checking out this site daily for a LONG time (even before the 1st iPhone) and I don't remember there being any major changes in the layout.
Adding extra features is fine (i.e. that Facebook/Twitter tab) but making the overall experience look cheap isn't... =/

honestly i prefer the classical brownish look than this as it's far more professional looking. also the font size for the topside links are too big although i understand why it is for. overall it looks like this design is perfect match for Opera browsers due to the similar colour schemes.

Hey GSMARENA,
Faster loading times are great! In overall look and feel it may still take me some time to get used to it, but the good old saying - if it ain't broke - don't fix it.
New logo is good, but the colors and general layout of the old site were better. It's early days though, so I'm sure you'll tweak things here and there.

Getting a mobile version of the site up should be ur first and foremost priority. We love gsmarena, but on GPRS, edge connection s it can take a while to load.

Hei GSMArena Team
Congrats for the new look. Overall it looks good... a few suggestions...
1) The condensed font for the section heads and the headlines of the articles are little less impactful than the old approach
2) Top link and logo bar is kinda unfriendly because of the condensed font and grey shade. A darker color like the old one or shade of red from the logo will be a great choice.. WILL BE STRIKING
3) On the home page, the headers 'NEWS' 'REVIEWS' and 'BLOGS' are lost because of the background band colour... again red would be striking and clearly distinguish the headers
Rest everything is absolutely fine and great improvement. Im a gsmarena user for nearly 7 yrs... thats why I took some effort to suggest you guys.
By the way, I myself a creative director in one of the global advertising agency network in India.
Thanks
Bala
