as stated at the Nokia site, the dimensions are: 99.6mm x 44.3mm x 19.6mm.
It means it is no razr, or krzr, too thick for that. Too thick to be a slim phone, anyway.

Looks ok but an external screen would be more useful compared to the analog clock display..

nokia is clearly copying the style of the razr , it is clearly seen in 6555 and n76 ..... but every time nokia copies a look from other companies they do it better , so motorola you better watch out .....

Absolutely gorgeous! And unbeatable price! Love the analog clock, and the fact that the inner screen screensavers etc. can be directly displayed on the outer screen. This is going to sell like crazy... Would not be surprised at all if Nokia hit the 40% market share goal soon..

I think its a good try by Nokia. The side view (when flipped closed) looks like Motorola V3x.

And now Nokia seems to be inspired by the KRZR - a year late...

Corrections to earlier comment. Just realised I am not the only one thinking Nokia is following Motorola's designs. First it was the N76 and the RAZR V3 and now with the 6555 looking like it was inspired by the KRZR K1/K3. Not impressed at all.

Does anyone else also think Nokia is following Motorola's designs. First it was the N95 and the V3 and now with the 6555 looking like it was inspired by the KAZR K1/K3. Not impressed at all.

Luis, yup, SE T650i is nice but for the price of ONE T650i you can buy TWO 6555 :P
This will sell tons just like 6300 which is over 5 millions for just one quarter!

It looks a lot slimmer in all the photos because of the fact that the colour on the back blends into the white background. if you look from the side, it actually seems to be quite thick.
It seems to be S40, due to the lack of 'menu' buttons found on S60 models.
Just because it doesnt have a secondary camera doesnt mean its not 3g.

This phone looks good and elegant. Anyway, the outer design looks like, if I can't say the same, with Nokia 2505 CDMA, but 6555 really looks better. It said that this phone is 3G, but I can't see the VGA camera for video call. I'm wonder if the external display only for displaying analog clock or also have function as fully external display as ussual
