(Hopefully Samsung will stop the copycat culture from now on, it was getting annoying.)whoever post this has no life. everyone copys samsung and its the largest company in the world. people do some research before u talk about a company.
[deleted post]what! they should sue all other tablet manufacturer.. as most of them are square with rounded corner, and black list surrounding the screen... it's practically general description of tablet. Maybe they should also sue all other notebook manufacturer?? No??
Also, has anyone considered what this could possibly do for Samsung sales? Apple is publicly claiming they are selling practically the same product, yet CHEAPER. Can't buy that kind of publicity, methinks.
[deleted post]That´s Apple for you.someone shoved a broom up theyr rear end so they started sueing everyone
Anonymous, 10 Aug 2011Yes, thank you for proving my point... If you read between the lines, you'll find that I'm obv... moreYes theyr Xeliberi lines failed.but even the all mighty Nokia is guilty of that

Anonymous, 10 Aug 2011If any company wants to be unique, let's see them bring out round, oval, or - why not - boomer... moreYou know there is a reason why companies aren´t designing phones like that:Because it´s been done before and said phones FAILED
If any company wants to be unique, let's see them bring out round, oval, or - why not - boomerang-shaped phones/tabs! Until then, every company needs to be regularly force-fed a handful of chill pills. For fnck's sake...

Let me ask you a question my friend and just think about it. Why didn't anyone accuse Noki... moreLOL, so just because you say it's just stealing doesn't mean it's stealing at all.
Because every Apple fanboy will say everyone is stealing from APple, so it's not a news to anyone of us that you will say that.
Just to give you a proof that Apple is accusing everyone for copying when someone can claim that those icons are even similar to each others: http://www.esphoneblog.com/201...ide-by-side/
Anonymous, 10 Aug 2011Why do people continuously equate sales with being a better product? Popularity is a much bet... moreOK what u said is true but thats the same thing i said too .
Whose market share is more ? android/windows and whose is less ? iOS/mac .
user experience counts always for products but not sales thats why i used "X" and "Y" . infact u didnt read my post clearly.
macs have highest user-rating in consumer reports than all but still 90% + use windows . better sales don't mean better products .
its about making a product which makes people satisfied .
for example : i buy a galaxy s2 phone because i couldn't wait for an iphone 5 + i bought galaxy s2 phone by reading the reviews and following the ratings .
and one day iphone-5 comes , everyone forgets galaxy s2 and everyone stares at iphone 5 and u feel kinda attracted to it whenever u see one in other people's hands or with ur friends because u do know brand value is lot influencial than features or specifications .
Can samsung galaxy S have same resale value of iphone 4 ? or atleast 3/4th resale value of iphone 4 ? NO NO NO
simple answer . isn't it ? because apple logo is always like a "candy-piece" . if someone has iPhone and other people turn into "trolls" and just use 2 words "open-source" or "flash" because of some Mentally-unsatisfied but still after all this trolling also , the resale value of iphone 4 is more (even iphone 3gs resale value vs any other competitive smartphone released in 2009)
because these other phones don't be appealing to consumers and also they won't be satisfied with their phone because if u buy an android device now and after like 6 months its resale value comes down to like half-price SO EASILY which makes consumer look cheap because u spend double amount 6 months ago and now its value is half but if u take iphone its little bit tricky because iPhone is kinda expensive when u buy but u have somewhat less features compared to others but because u bought iphone at higher price , u clearly want to sell it for more value because if u sell it for less value u feel "cheated" because u bought the most expensive one and u must resale the same phone with higher "price tag" so when a phone got more resale value , u definitely have more satisfaction because u may have an old product but still it has great "value" in the market .
So iPhone is more satisfying to consumers than android . its not android's fault or apple's fault , its just the way it is .
poor peter chou... (sorry, I forgot the name samsung's CEO guy, just copy paste a name from other company)
Tom-Helge, 10 Aug 2011LOL, so by how you describe things here, then i'm pretty sure that every car brands can sue ea... more
Let me ask you a question my friend and just think about it. Why didn't anyone accuse Nokia,Moto,SE, HTC of being copy cats?? Why is it that samsung are constantly blamed and accused of being copy cats and wannabes???
Yes we understand that development comes from beginning from where others finished and improving what's in your hands. However, in samsung case it's just stealing stealing and stealing!! They steal the design, the UI, etc etc..
Stealing is not like developing at all! What do you explain that after samsung released their own tab, the ipad 2 came out and than samsung's CEO informed the world that we need to change the design of our tab and make it more like an ipad 2 ? Do you see where I'm going here.
Samsung are just pathetic! I respect Nokia and SE 100% times more because although they are struggling they are still trying to be original.
One fact remains true, though: Samsung have NO imagination. Let's leave aside the Galaxy series for a moment and focus our attention on Bada. You would've thought, being their own operating system--which they did design from scratch, by the way--Samsung would've had some of their own ideas to put into the project. Unfortunately, no. What they came up with, instead, was a mishmash of the iOS and Android. They just can't come up with anything on their own.
This is complete and utter BULLS#$%T!Apple is sour that Android is continiuing to grow more and more while Apple has preaty much stagnated. What about people who WANT a galaxy tab 10.1?In the end the ones that trully suffer are us,the end consummers.
Apple´s reason is pattent infringement. What pattent exactely?Just because the Galaxy Tab 10.1 looks SIMILAR to the Ipad?Going by that logic then car manufacturers should start sueing each other for having similar carmodels(a frame, four wheels and an engine)WTH...
Not to mention that when Sammy "copies"(and i use that term loosely) then theyr the devil. But when Apple copies stuff from other devs and manufacturesr(Iphone being a COMPLETE copy of the old LG Prada phones) then they can getaway with it...I am starting to think that Apple has been briding the courts to get these injunctions passed.Apple go die in a corner!
[deleted post]I agree with the Galaxy Ace. And let's not forget one thing: the UI. Too "iPhoney."
[deleted post]LOL, so by how you describe things here, then i'm pretty sure that every car brands can sue each others because they are using round wheels and round tires and on top of that are going forward like all cars do?
Is it like that you want things to be?
If Samsung really broke the law by using apples patents without taking a licence, then I think the block is valid. Having said that, I don't know if Apple allows for using their patent, and if so, if they charge a fair price (fair as in a small percentage of the total price it costs to manufacture the device. But if apple doesn't allow it, or charges a disproportionate price, I think the patent system should be changed like Google said a while ago. Currently I feel that situations like this example only slow down innovation and development just to earn more money.
