i've never used radio and the fm transmitter is so annoying, very bad and weak emission signal. all the nokia i had (and i had all the high-ends) had an infernal noise on radio broadcast, no matter what car, no matter what brand it was practically impossible to use. SO USELESS FUNCTIONS BOTH !!!!!

ahah it s like the iphone4, they had special glass at 100$ piece, which is supposly to be very resistant, but when u drop it, you are good to fork 200$ to replace both side.

why they didnt do they back cover in plastic to save money?
nokia is coying apple.

And I assume Nokia has not plans to give full support to N8 either not to be sold in soo many countries aroun the World

As I said before, N9 is dead at birth.

Even te /sarcasm of GSMArena is funny.....

Whatever happens we'll at least get the FM radio, right?....yeah right!

So basicaly they raise the price by adding stuff onboard and no using it?!?! And makes it hard to 3rd party activate it...
Stupid move
same thing "hey! Heres a new ultra smart super smartphone, but u cant do nothing with it but make calls and write some sms messages, but otherwise it has so much power in it that u need to plug it to a powersoscet for life!"

or mayby this is an unibody style!? Huh the new nWP7 will use the same chipset?
So the technology on it is old when it arrives...typical.
Oh EISA gave the best smartphone mark to SGS2!

Actually must SOC's used In the smart phones come with dedicated hardware controllers for fm transmission and reception. But as in most cases, the control ckt is there and the actual power ckt(antennas) is absent. Actually by the spec sheets, all samsung phones from omnia hd to galaxy s2 have had this controller. Same goes for iphone 4 and some moto phones. So n9 having this configuration is nothing new our surprising.
