Why does it need a 1Ghz processor when it is merely running on s40? It seems pointless..

This is to kill smart feature phone known as Iphone.

Fast processor, smaller screen so more battery back, fast video recording, good pics for distance more than 60 cm; less bugs for S40 and there are thousand and thousands of java application.

Nokia need to do only one thing, start developing good office applications which will work on this within a month. then we can see only one phone, value of which is going to appreciate and not depreciate.

hip hip hurray.

Still stable and fast enough. People who live under a cave or too much S40 in their life sure don't get it.

the good thing is, after you have used it for two years, strip the gold plating and you'll get the purchase price back for scraps

Whats is it with multitasking that is so lifesaving? I dont get it. How often do one actually use it? Music/radio background-listening is possible with C3-01 anyway. Compare with the drawbacks: shorter batterylife, need to install/use "taskkiller", less security, less stable system.

This is a market/industry disrupting device. The price of this phone appreciates in time unlike the SGS 2 which loses its value in just a few months. Your grandkids will be thrilled and even fight over this golden phone. Can the SGS 2 do that? 30 years from now, you pull out your old SGS 2 and your grandkids will laugh at how outdated it is. You pull out a golden C3-01 and they will say "WOW". This phone is destined to be an heirloom, a collectors item of the rich, and will be featured in museums in the future.

Nokia really hit the jackpot with this phone!

> In reply to Ashura @ 2011-08-23 19:21 from MA%X - click to readNo, I'm serious. This will outsell the SGS 2. It's gold and it will be the high-class fashion item that the iPhone can only dream of. Just wait and see, this phone will be flying off the shelves and will single handedly revive Symbian. Android will have a decline this quarter solely because of this golden phone that everyone will want. Nokia is back in the game!
