finally motorola back to the nature, producing the quality phone, not just some suck rizr, razr, rozr and any other zr, which have a very good design but very sucks in specification.

I hope this handset true and will be released soon. What motorola must do just open their eyes. look up your customer. your razr era is already end, and you must make other innovation than just building some design phone with same spec for every period. others are in front of them now.

for trully, from my experience using siemens, nokia, sonny ericsson and motorola, i like motorola more. but somehow recently they produce phone with up to date design but out of date specs. im a music lover, and think that motorola better for this department than others. but, because in the other department they are sucks, i change my mind to use se right now.

if e7 will be come true, and i think i will back to motorola. I like their design, and with a specs like e7, it will be a very great replacement for me..

2008 will be the year of 5 megapixel touchscreen mobiles.
Samsung F700, the LG Viewety, an yet un-announced sonyericsson phone, that on pictures of a real body with electronics, but without screen and buttons tells us with print it has optical zoom. And looking at the portfolio of SE, we can assume it will be the top of the line Cybershot, as the w960 is the top of the line walkman, and should therefor sport a 5 mpix camera.

So Motorola need to make the E7 happening!

(apple will probably jump on the train as well, with a late arrival at the end of 2008).

And there are rumours of Nokia considering making touchscreen mobiles, or internet tablets with phone features in a phone formfactor.

Nobody here knows when is it available ? Q4 2007 or 2008 ? I need to buy a cell camera, but N95 is very poor yet (NO ZOOM OPTICAL, NO FLASH GOOOD). What price ? N95 is very expensive!

I just want a new TouchscreenMotorla, I got the A925, but too big, to much software problem, sim locked to 3 (wasnt at first, but after they made a much needed guarantee repair of it, it was).

If they make the E7, they could diss the GPS, dont ever use it in my N95. Hope they put a SD-HC card slot in it and diss the 2gig module to keep the size. Make it a 3G/Edge phone, so I can turn of the 3G and use edge like on my N95/N73 to save batteries.
Please keep the camera module, or at least make it 3.2 mpix and please 3x zoom and xenon. And don't bother to make a video-call camera, they are useless as cameras and who make videocalls? I just makes a phone a little bit fater.
But where is the gaming keys? with a powerfull accelerator there should be two buttons above the screen, SE has them, Nokia N95-8GB has the musickeys (wich doubles as gaming keys) and the A925/A1000 had them.

Motorola is one of the best.. I have used many phone, i have tried many phone, but no one like Motorola.. Motorola cases is the most solid one as far as I know.. I'm not only search for features, but prefer to quality.. Motorola has it and can be increased.. Motorola and Linux is the perfect combination.. That E7 is what i searched and what i dreamed.. The superb one and will beat N95 for sure.. The E8 also a great one, a great design.. It is the first concept and design, the original one.. Then Nokia will copy the design to their design.. Look at N76, the copier of RAZR.. Or 6233 that look same like E1, with double speaker in side.. I like the original then i choose Motorola..

Really hope the E7 will come out, here in Sweden as well, the E6 never did, and I wanted it... I like motorola, they have personality. The E6 looks a little better than the E7, but E7 specs sound nice, just hope is has EDGE (rather that than battery sucking 3G/3.5G). If it doesent come out I might end up getting the SonyEricsson W960, and that will be a loss for Motorola.

E8 looks really good, but not my kind of phone...

I would bet either you do not work at Nokia, or your job may not entail you being in a phone expert position, or you work in marketing.

It is ironic that Motorola invented the cellphone yet they are not an innovator. It is ironic that Nokia started pushing out phones using more miniUSB, microSD, and 3.5mm jacks when Motorola had used these in several of their handsets. Motorola invented thin with the razr and l6/slvr. That newly announced 5310 sure looks like a SLVR rip to me. The features in the MusicXpress phones sure copy alot of MotoROKR features (3.5mm/microsd/mini-B).

Motorola designs attractive phones while Nokia phones can leave alot to be desired. Once Motorola gets on the features wagon (higher MP cameras, Wifi, large storage) then people will be buzzing again. They are already the most stylish and most customizable.

Nobody has details about the Nokia factory, I work with Nokia for 10 years now, even we don't get the details. The high end Nseries are mostly made by hand and not by machines. Nokia still has the best quality available, there are production faults all the time (not only with nokia).

If you wanna know if it's nokia's fault of your fault, than you have to bring it to the store and let them figure it out... If you don't, than it's probably because of your own fault.

* Humidity wrecks each phone, and mostly the software first, this is the reason in 90% of all the cases.

Now you bring up the fact that Nokia copies other phones, this is not true. In most cases we already design, the phone designs a few years ahead.

If we would have putten copyrights and patents on the designs, no other phone would have been able to use them designs.

You wanna know why the nokia is the number one?!
because they are produce 1 phone/min! you also can more things in less time, but your things will lose qulity very soon! this is the law : " Accuracy or Velocity " when you choose one you will lose other. how much time they are spend on their new product?
calculate time between 2 new phones from nokia and you will know what i'm sayin. and its show that howmuch they are idle in their company! nokia is the number one, you are right! but they are making cameras and mp3 players instead of mobile! and i accept that motorola has poor features but i think they are making MOBILE PHONES!!!! and not pocket pc's and other entertainment devices. my nokia 3250 worked for only 3 mounts.
and then following problems occured :
hanging up,
no dialling(2 beeps and then redialling
what else nokia wanna make? design a pc and put a sim slot on it?!
that will be a great phone.
and i advise you if you want buy cameras with high mp's and loud mp3 players they are found in market.

ROKR series is the best, its owned the SE walkman series. Now with 2 more new phones coming out, that would be great.

if the E7 is real that would be a real Nokia N95 killer! its so hard defend my N95 with this kinda of phone coming out... still love my N95!

I think that motorola will always play second fiddle to sony and nokia, and will always be a inferior product, by the time they introduce a 5mp camera, the rest will have moved on, they are always one or two steps behind.

I think the E7 is real, but the thickness of it isn't.
Maybe it'll be up around 17mm or around 20 like the K850 or N95 that're at the top of the 5Mp line.
14mm is how thick the V9 is, so I can't believe that MOTO can do that yet, though based on how much they stuffed into the V9, I can assure you that they can have all that specs within the E7, except not at 14mm, more like 17-20mm

Guess E8 is not a fake one! Seems like it has a landscape screen (first of its kind from moto!). If u observe, it has got a wheel (around D-pad), might be this is similar in functionality to ipod wheel, for easy scrolling (sounds kewl). With 3.5mm jack, cool music keypad , Linux OS and 2gigs on board memory, It makes a gd music phone. Good way to go MOTO! Fingers crossed bout E7

Motorola is the best.moto always give a surprise.I think it's true.if u follow motorola's development,u'll be sure about this.just like E1,E2,E6,V8,Z6 and A1200.All was rumour and the reality is they're really coming out.E7 and E8 are true.

Motorola's E8 pales in comparison to Nokia's recent phone lineup. I think it's time to switch if I still don't see anything interesting coming for the ROKR line.

i think tht the e7 is just a lame lie if moto could cum up to 5 mpx y didnt they go up to 3.2 whn the n73 and k800i was out hehe whoever believes tht is stupid
