Anon, 06 Sep 2011yeah, but the iPhone doesn't have a pressure-sensitive pen, Android OS and the screen is much ... moreanyways i too hate apple :D here apple costs more than s2 or sensation. but then i really like their new ui ios 5 really good one like sense.
Best thing to do is spread our hate for the price. Blogs and newsites will catch it and Samsung will here it. Pretty simple really. If we make the the prohibitive price the focal point of the device instead of it capabilities, samsung will do something to change the image of the device and their brand as well.
This is not a tab it's a phone because it's run by gingerbread OS not Honeycomb OS
Another plastic touchwiz, "slim" phone from samsung. POOR quality, and repitition that's what samsung is all about.
I still like it. The price is a little high but I always wait for a month or two before buying any new product. Every device has bugs which surface within the first one or two months and after that, they're resolved with an update most of the time. If I want the price to drop I just wait for a little longer and unless something better comes up the next month, I buy it then.
10" tablets are currently going for betweem £280 and £350. The only tablet that is still super high - about £700 is the LG, so the Note's price is high, if that is what it will be.
Anonymous said it all above. The price on the Galaxy Note in Denmark will match the iPhone almost exactly.
too expensive .. Also it is a device so attractive .. and that I love big screens but even the 4.8-inch as acer inconia smart or htc titan..
Suru, 06 Sep 2011With pen.ha ha ha.fakeyep, try navigating that huge screen with a one thumb
Yea those prices seem to be a bit high but to all you people outside Scandinavia remember that Scandinavian countries are the most expensive countries in the EU and all those countries have VAT around 23-25%. So price in the States will be something super cheap to us Finnish people.
I am thinking may be i should not wait and buy a Galaxy S II !
Is this fair ?
Maybe Samsung positioning Note as super exclusive baby, judging by its screen size and functionality, I mean tablet-phone device. Thus, they dun want it to sell like GS2 does, maybe putting some control over it. Not to mention, at the moment the specs...Well, Impressive! So why not, they simply dun want average Joe to buy it... :)
it's to expensive, there is no reason and sense to buy this too large smartphone or too small tablet
Anonymous, 06 Sep 2011The article fails to mention, that sales taxes in Denmark are 25% and that the price displayed... moreForgot to mention, that the sales taxes are always included in the price in the scandinavian countries unlike usa. The price of this device will be a lot lower.
Anon, 06 Sep 2011yeah, but the iPhone doesn't have a pressure-sensitive pen, Android OS and the screen is much ... moreI meant Samsung's screen is much better, not the iPhone one
I mean, overall, a 5.3" 280ppi screen is more useful than a 3.5" 330ppi one, just sayin
