Limited amounts = higher prices, duh?
Limited support? wrong! (well, kinda...)
This is a phone for developers, not the kind of person who would buy this "because it's looks pretty" or the kind of person who would call a helpdesk to get something simple as his/her's email configured.
Meego is a community-build/supported OS, if that's not good enough for you, this phone is a bad choice for you...
It's $770 USD for a device that runs on a dead platform. No thanks. It should be price the same as the HP TouchPad.
Expensive, more expensive... Nokia.
[deleted post]That's like saying WebOS is not dead. MeeGo is dead no matter how you deny it. It is you who's ignorant. Android devices gets new lease on life from the XDA Developers. The N9 is meant for foolish geeks like you who refuses to believe that the device will flop. You need to get real. Even Nokia is moving away from MeeGo and that OS is not picking up steam. It's more dead than WebOS.
Is the N9 going to be released in the Uk. I think its a superb stand alone phone.... dont be a droid go with meego!!!. Nokia hardware is far superior to any other manufacturer Peter
AnonD-1906, 07 Sep 2011Nokia need to cut the price in half just like hp(webos). It s a dead osIndeed. Nokia is pricing this thing like a dual-core device. Nokia still thinks they're on top and can price their devices high like this. They really want to make this device fail with such a high price tag. It should be priced at around the SE Arc's price range at most.
Nokia N9 will be unique!!!!!
price will be dropped to 99 usd like hp touchpad!
damn, we make Nokia's here near Cluj but the prices are higher that in other places.
[deleted post]Oh, good, later on, would you mind posting the links to the informative meego forums, etc in the N9 thread? I mean the good ones, some dont seem to have much. After I get my hands on the N9, would want to start running all sorts of stuff on it.
It really looks expensive in Europe though, due to the taxes??

With all the uncertainty this phone seems doomed to fail even before it's been released. Too bad. Nokia has been my favorite brand all those years, but Stephen Elop does not seem to know what he's doing.
I won't buy this '''tribute to MEEGOO''' phone...
It's expensive for a allready dead OS.....(Sammy is interested on this OS because of the Google-Motorola situation)
Anybody can buy as an collectors item....
the romania "retailer" in not a retailer is not even a company, in this days any one whit 100$ is having online stores. The Nokia N9 is put there just for fun
AnonD-1906, 07 Sep 2011Obsolete at realese no go for me. Overprice for a dead ososYou no need worry, you are not buying it anyway(wink)
it's all most the price of a sgs 2 , not ok
AnonD-6211, 07 Sep 2011What? 600-650USD and 750USD, for the 16GB and 64GB respectively and that price is cheaper than... moreAt my location, RRP for the Arc(original) is USD630, maybe cheapest at USD570. Samsung S2=USD660, cheapest, if Samsung authorised dealer, still at USD700. Unless you mean AP set
The price of N9 should around the same as N8 at 1st release
Obsolete at realese no go for me. Overprice for a dead osos
Petr Kasa, the boss of Nokia Czech tweeted that it will be available for not more than 15 000 CZK (approx. 600 euros), not specified version. Latest time is October. Source: http://twitter.com/#!/petrkasa
Awesome. I think this phone will do well, and Nokia fans will definitely buy it. It will also perhaps claw back some users they lost to Android previously.
