It might be a chinaphone..it's totally different with the previous blackberry handheld, however it's very nice and unique in many ways..

Looks cheap, identical to the samsung galaxy pro, lacks that premium punch that we are used to from blackberry. It surely is an ugly design.. Is blackberry going forward or behind?

I dunno. I looks like one of those cheap, disposable (one drop and it's a goner) China phones that I see being sold here in the streets of my country. Even the e71 looks a lot better than this. Looks like a kid's toy or something. I ain't a blackberry hater but they took away the professional look that their brand is known for with this phone.
