Those photos indeed look stunning, interesting to see what normal user can get out of that camera.
Funny like people really are here talking about sammy or htc phones can take such a pics. I mean for real htc has always produced worst camera photos out there, not sharp, full of noise, very unnatural colours etc. htc camera photos looks total crap.
Now apple went big league with nokia and sonyericsson, those are one of the best looking phone camera samples ever seen maybe even best. I mean check out the sharpness and details in that wall picture.

Apple looks like indeed has an iPhone 5 plans for release, the 4S is just for adding the infamous "S" but there is a plans for release another two iphones, one more economical and other that can be the iPhone 5...
Just Apple knows the true, we only look....but for me, well I will wait more, no iPhone 4S for me thanks!!!

Yes I was reading this on other places, looks like this is a winner and even outperform a Nokia N9 and even the N8, looks like Apple is getting a better hardware since they "break" with Samsung....

“Despite competitors trying really hard, they haven’t come up with anything close,”

Apple what are you playing at, samsung way ahead of you, Apple still playing catch up releasing the same iphone 4, no one going to buy this when everyone expecting a iphone 5 with new design and tech. I hope apple suffer major losses.

Isnt this the same camera unit from the Xperia Arc anyway? I want to see a comparison done. Would love to see a 8MP shootout when the time comes.

I dont think these photos are better than N9 shots.By the way tne N8 does it job much better & also has multiple advantages such as Hdmi, USB on the go, real useful maps, and fantastic 12 MP camera.Absolutely I prefer the N8.

Stunning? Are you guys joking? Look at the crazy noise in the pictures. It looks liks they just jacked up the saturation and contrast and called it a day. There's a lot of apps that can do that ffs. The one thing they did right was the aperture. Let's hope this pushes the rest of the industry in making better glass.

FAKE images - nothing else was expected from Apple brainwashing anyway (look at squirell picture).
1. shutter speed was incredibly fast (1/286 s) in such a conditions (forest). I usually need to go to (at least) ISO800 to achieve in on my E-P3 with super-fast 20mm F1.7 to have the same speed (and out of my head I would be at 1/125s)!
Guess what, one stop slower lens(F2.4) needed base ISO64 to achieve the results - which are good indeed!
2. even with aperture wide open, it is impossible to achieve such a shallow depth of field. 35mm focal lenght and being close to subject (I wonder how they managed it) doesn't help here so much, as the sensor is simply TOO SMALL to have such a bokeh!
I couldn't get such shallow depth of field with my compact XZ-1, with bigger senzor + faster lens and that is one professional compact camera!
IMPOSSIBLE in photography due to physics constrainst
