Yes, as the first poster said, "apple is apple"! Curse it, mock its fans, but the bottom line is...."it will sell"; i m joining the bandwagon too. Waiting for it to hit indian shores.

plain stupidity or miracle. both things are not understandable by logic. and this is combination. again apple are batting on siri and 8 mp cam. because nothing else will be changed. if single core processor will run system so fluently, what double core will do. will make differance of 0.25 seconds. but risk will be burning more battery. and people cant lablw the phone as dual core on its back.

Apple's strategic plan on its product design and features has captured the heart of many smartphone lovers. Their strategy is unselfish, always appreciating and remembering the predecessor so you don't feel so regret for having the previous version. I hope they will stay like that even without Legendary Steve Jobs. It's not like other smartphone, your excitement only last until the new model comes out which usually not even a year. I never own one, but I gonna get this time. I will wait till Iphone 4s come to my country probably only this Dec.

unless all other phones going to be priced 50% lesser than iPhone ... this trend is going to stay forever because of Apple fans and those who are sitting on the fence.

apple marketing strategy is based on:
1-fidelity of customers made by magnetic attraction for apple logo,no matter what that tool represents

2-the need of "rednecks and new-money" people for showing off a real or false higher social status than others in public, even they are real hunger, because apple products are known as the most expansive products in their segments: pc,laptops,smartphones,mp3 players.

3-iphone is very easy to use, very beautiful indeed

I am sure that 20% of them will be coming to UAE as i have seen, Ads on the local websites, people already are offering 16GB for $1000. Seems a promising Business.
