Well upgrading to symbian anna does not have any great effect on the multimedia sector. It did not provide anything special, so roll out of belle is immensely necessary for satisfying the customers who are quite reasonably annoying with nokia for its sluggish marketing policy and servicing.

this is why Nokia is losing market share. the uncertainty of software updates and the failure to provide software to all regions at once. if Nokia want to get back in as a giant in the cellphone world they are going to have to pick up their game and provide services that make them a competitor in the market instead of relying on diehard Nokia fans to keep them alive.

If I were you, Nokia, I'd skip Anna in the regions it has not already been rolled out into and go straight to Belle. Anna isn't worth the time or effort.

I love my Nokia N8. still running Anna on it. I'll wait a while for belle update or else just flash it with the leaked beta version. Android on the other hand is also a great OS but it still has a fair amount of bugs to deal with.
