And dont u think that i doesnt make any sense for symbian like os to run on cortex? My nokia E52 phone has just 600mhz ARM11 processor but its very fast and works pretty smooth than a similar android cortex based phone. For symbian 1Ghz ARM Processor is very fast and it operates butter smooth. After all upon all that we get a good battery back up which is very essential. I dont like charging my phone every 8 hours. I want my phone to run for atleast 36 hours wit 1 charge.

A. 360 x 640 pixels still! Dont you see how big a problem this is??

B. Arm11 processors, even at 1GHz its the slowest there is. Its seriously bad.

A + B = Useless, waste of money, utter crap.

Android is also bad, but dont have those limitations. MeeGo is my choice, but N9 will be my last nokia, i will never, ever have a winmo phone.

sort of cautious about this phone because looking at how much cheaper it is compared to 701 & almost the same hardware, Nokia might have made sneaky cuts in some places

By reading all the comments wat i notice is Some people have become literally sick of Nokia. They dont want to open there eyes towards new symbian belle whic has been revamped so beautifully. What they just know is symbian is old os. Guys tell me one thing is ter anything in this world that stays new all the time? You people are not even giving a try to symbian belle. I think in next 2 to 3 years u people will ditch andro saying that its a old os... praise the beauty of android but at the same time dont try to downgrade symbian belle operating system. Its on par with android and i can bet u all that Nokia symbian belle phone will last more than a samsung or HTC Android phone. Nokias are designed to last for a minimum period of 3 to 4 years. We can see many people who are still using 6600 but have u guys ever heard of a person using his 6 year old samsung or LG?

This is good stuff. The 603 has a great many features that some other "high end" phonrs do not. It would be great if symbian could get a foothold in the USA again.
My N8 is pretty snappy for 680MHz. 1GHz proc would make it fly! The beauty of a true open scorce, lightweight OS.
Folks, don't forget that Symbian^3 has only been on the sceen for a year. I'd say it's making pretty good progress with the updates and changes Belle brings. Yes, the Nokia Store has less content, but once popularity raises, it'll get better.

its just like that as Elop said in an interview with Steve Ballmer that its a diversion process for users to shift users from symbian to wp7 from now till the end of symbian os...

The world has moved on since your E71.

It's not Nokia that is stuck in 2008. It is you with your 2008 E71. Symbian Belle is totally different. Try it first.

You are not judging Androit either with 2008 Android 1.0 standards, are you? Or iPhone of 2008 which was just as primitive.

Oh, wait. You ain't gonna get any updates at all. Instead, you are stuck with prehistoric Android if you buy _any_ Anrdoid phone at this price point.

Is that better then? Dead Android OS with limited memory and substandard camera.

At least Nokia is bringing true and affordable smartphones that keep getting the latest and greatest updates.
