LG Optimus 2X will not be getting a taste of Ice Cream Sandwich - read the full textThis one is surely much tougher to get over than in the case of Google Nexus One, folks. After all, the latter is almost two years old now. It appears that LG Optimus 2X - officially the first smartphone to feature a dual-core CPU, will not be getting an official update to Google's latest Android...

Wow! This news makes me want to throw my Optimus Black Stuck-With-Froyo into a garbage can and buy an iPhone 3GS. This LG phone love to crash and freezes all the time, i'm waiting for Gingerbread update and hope it can resolve those problem. LG said the 2.3 update released in October, until now it's all just lies... This phone is the first and the last i would buy from LG.

Is this news really true??? Feel sorry for those who bought 2X... It was the flagship phone of LG a few months ago and now they are not even going to support ICS for their dual-cored phones??? Wonder how many more will join this list... Fragmentation has always been the worst problem of Android... This is only going to make it worse...

Now this is the problem with android, one day you buy a high end phone and other day you get to know that you won't be getting android update for that. A dual core won't be getting Ice Cream Sandwich?
Boooo...Android.

One more reason why LG sales keep declining. Do something revolutionary or 1) they will find their mobile division abandoned soon 2) they will only able selling dumbphones

Hopefully for LG owners they will change their mind.

Even if that was removed from the feed, i ve been reading that news on quite a few sites, that's really some bad advertising for this company.
