I don't get Nokia, They are losing market everyday bey holding on to the ideer that symbian and now WM should be the new OS for mobil phones.

Why don't just accept that they made a mistake bye not shifting to the android OS - take ther losses now, and shift right away to android.

I'm excited to see what Nokia brings to the table with this one. Regardless of what OS it uses I think the real attraction will be the camera, once again. And since Symbian is starting to catch up to other OSes in some areas I don't really think it matters much what its running. However I feel that to drop the camera down to a lower MP would be a mistake. The 12mp sensor is what makes the N8 so unique. I don't know of many N8 users or people in general realize that the N8 when recording HD video has lossless zooming.... while zooming in on something the camera will adjust to the new zoom and hold its HD quality. This is something I've never seen on any other camera in a phone.... most others all you are doing is zooming in closer on the pixels making the image less clear. I think they need to hold true to its current hardware, or even up it!

I was super impressed with the Nokia N9 due to its overall features specifically the Meego OS and going with the same impressions, I would love to see this successor of N8 running on Meego rather than MS WP7.5. WP is very boring and seems very unattractive in all the respects so its a clear no no from my side and the second choice should be Symbian Belle or any higher version of the Symbian OS if there is any after Belle, and there shouldnt be any third option... no way for Androids cos even though its currently ruling the market, its still enjoying its stint as the most favored OS just because the people are still now aware of the hazards of this OS and there are so many safety loopholes.

Samsung have everything from Gigantic LED TV, to top notch hi-fi stereo system, to refrigerator, oven, vacuum cleaner, aircondtioner, smartphone and etc. So it is about time for them to be one of the top dog in mobile as well. But Nokia as one of the pioneer in smartphone still have one the most original idea in mobile industries. That make love Nokia always.

Meego may be called the best, but limited amount of apps and games makes it unsatisfactory. If it got considerable amount of games and apps, non can kick Meego's as$

In same presentation wasn't/ doesn't say if there is limitation in updating devices only on those who have 1 GHz CPU and 512 MB RAM. I'm not talking about speculations of any kind (from this or othe sites). I only hope that next "big gun " will use symbian as their OS and newer CPU.

I love the Nokia cameraphone but Android is a must have. I expect a 12MP or superior with 60fps. That´s what I need in a mobile !

I got the N8 and the N9. I have to say that the N8 is better. Its a pity that N9 has to go micro sim. Now got a micro sim i can't use n8 to make calls anymore. None the less i use my N8 to take photos and to use as a gps. The map on N8 is much better. And use the N9 for calling textingand web browsing.
