For some reason I kinda proud that they mention my country in this review. Everyone here that I know of indeed use blackberry as a means of communication. Mostly because of bbm and their internet service while the other brand doesn't seem to offer good internet service or simply offer no service at all. So no wonder If indonesian embrace blackberry like no other phone.

BlackBerry sees 42% market share in RI
The Jakarta Post | Thu, 11/17/2011 9:20 AM
JAKARTA: Research In Motion is projecting to reach 42 percent of the smartphone market in Indonesia by the year’s end due to growing demand.
“We are projecting 42 percent market share by the end of this year because BlackBerry loves Indonesia and Indonesians clearly love their BBM and BlackBerry smartphones,” said Gregory Wade, RIM’s regional managing director for East Asia.
He said that 90 percent out of the 50 million BlackBerry users in Indonesia used BBM for their social lives.

I seriously think my 9780 looks better than this 9790.
Though I have to admit the internals of 9790 is way better except for battery. It looks like a curve...

seems rim are good to go to make rnd n manufacturing in Indonesia, for start pack, improve the cdma based line so are bb oriented, since gsm @ Indonesia are focused on iphone, most people who have mobile here have more than one mobile

instead of downgrading their phones why not concentrate on making those QNX based OS, they're just wasting a lot of money in a time that phone consumers are ignoring BB.

for the makers of the blackberry the apps need to step up. the phones keep coming back with the same applications just faster os well the os is important and speed processing but , there are phones out there with faster speeds and rams than the blackberry. the apps have to be changed or upgraded quickly along with the os. the galaxy s2 is taking the market by storm and iphones are being upgraded as well. something needs to be done!!!!!
