It manages to achieve this by being just 6.6mm thick. Also,...

I doubt it has a decent camera. Fixed focus unit probably. At least the S2 and Razr have auto focus units. But none the less it is an accomplishment on its own. I also doubt this phone will be seen outside Japan which is a pity.

Its like a phone suffering from anorexia. Its unsightly when its too thin and its becomes really unconfortable to hold the phone. 8.4mm is just right for me, which is the SGS2 ^^ They should put a limit to this slim-craze.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2011-11-24 07:19 from Li5E - click to readThe Japanese have been ahead of the west for a bloody millenia when it comes to megapixel count. Walk into a Docomo store in Japan today and you'd be lost for choices (and words) with 12MP, 14MP, and 16MP camera phones.

Though for your info, this comes with a 5MP sensor. Probably couldn't get it any larger as that would have forced a thicker body. Although a standard (in Japanese phones), I'm surprised that they decided and managed to squeeze in a Felica pad. The control circuitry for that can get big (at least, on my F904i which admittedly is 5 years old now...)

Actually, I still have my iPhone, and I don't hate the product....
I was having a tongue-in-cheek jibe at my experience. It was my fault I broke it when my jaw dropped at the sheer beauty and performance of my friend's Galaxy SII. The iPhone panels slipped through my fingers.
Had there been a 'chin' on the phone; this may never have happened!

You'll be pleased to know that the broken device is still useful as a door wedge and an ice scraper!
