My wife isn't a tablet person, but she loves her phone. The only complaint she has is that due to size she can't be as versitile with her phone. This product is a great solutions, but the question remains who will be the carriers of this product?

Hopefully they will make it so that you can put a larger battery in if you want. I also would like microsd capability. Noticed that some phone makers are not putting micro sd card slots now that iCrap has lowered the standards....

It would be nice if the phone can be bought separately, because I can find any use for the tablet.

This is a fantastic idea, and it will keep all of your data and documents, apps and contacts, on your tablet, and phone. So there is no need to sync. But not only that, it has top of the range specs to support newest games, and applications. Similar to the Motorola Atrix's laptop/phone idea. Good work Asus,

Well, smart phones have hit the ceiling, what on earth is a quad core on an non-optimized app market going to add to someone who's not a tech junkie?

The idea behind this product is to have a powerful smartphone that can be converted into tablet when you put it into the tablet case. So, it is definitely a great idea from ASUS.

Asus should release a device that is a combination between the PadPhone and the Transformer - meaning a padfone that can connect to a detachable keyboard which turns it to a netbook! Then it would be an ultimate all-in-one (3 in 1) device!

and if the smartphone would have a 720p screen, and also there would be a 1920x1080 screen for the tablet, it would be super-ultimate!
