Hi Guys... I have one doubt... Which is the first camera mobile.. And i want to buy a mobile with in the price range 30k(inr) other wise $550... can u plz suggest me... any os... other than apple
The prpblem with SE was that it kept putting all their "Sony" brands into their phones...but didn't deliver:
Walkman was the best thing to happen to the world in the 1980s, but walkman on a phone didn't quite cut it.
Cybershot was a decent camera; but phones marked so weren't much better than other camera-phones.
Bravia mobile screens are good; but I don't really see any connection to the Bravia TVs (they don't even use the same technology)
So..... what will happen to all the Sony Ericsson phones like the Arc S?
brynn, 07 Dec 2011I am in the minority but a phone should fit your face like clamshells do plus i love pressing ... moreI agree about the buttons issue. Plus I admit you are right that the previous generation had a form factor (I misread your previous post and made the argument on technology over form as opposed to technology AND form) that was quirky and out of this world that cannot be duplicated by the current slab of metal and black screens, Nokia 5510, the tear drop design, the Siemens SL55, Nokia 7280, 7700 TV phone, 6670 the RAZR/StarTAC series/V3689/V50, the P800/900's, the nokia communicator series, the list of forms before the IPhone/Android/WP7/Maemo then MeeGo touchscreen era came just goes on and on. Blackberry have not
I think manufacturers have concentrated solely on user experience more than what the device looks like, but at the same time models such as the Iphone 4/Nokia N9/HTC Legend/Motorola RAZR Droid can prove that the one dimensional form factor does work, but how they do that is with the use of materials and elegant edges. With flexi screens and with Sensetec technology that will enable us to feel what we touch, maybe we can relive those form factors we desired pre 2007, before LG Prada and Iphone dictated the market. Sorry for my rant, I hope sony can reproduce a Z5 and J70 successor, arguably one of the many monochrome era phones that revolutionised the ringtone to polyphonic. Sony will realise that any potential successor of the original Sony Polyphonic phone will have to live up to it's expectations and revolutionise this era what it's predecessor did for ringtones from the previous era.
Marcelo Sabite, 07 Dec 2011The Death of SAMSUNG is coming soon.... .that's an overstatement.... Sony is great but they can't even keep their TV's afloat~
Welcome back Sony really big fan ov ur products like they say make and believe and why compromise true look at there laptops z series only rich people I've seen them using and celebrities have them high end concept design apple mac book pro u don't doesn't come near the z series u are rare unique using z series
Samsung is the best, cuz most of the cellphone maker use Samsung chipset n processor
sony needs to sort out their slow operating system on phones. the sony play was slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww as hell. And need more support like updatessssssssssssssss!!! r.i.p
I will miss Ericsson but i hope Sony will continue its support for this years smartphone lineup after the Ics update!
sony kill everybody samsung lg htc apple nokia moto and other
dont forget this sony like no other...
good thing i didn't buy any latest phone from sony ericsson just yet. Since there will be change in the company nest year, they will probably have poor support on their older phones that were with ericsson and probably would focus more in their "Sony" phone line up..
Um.....Ericsson must come back,I am done with the all the crappy phones in the market.I miss my 688 and R520 mobiles....legends!
Remember that Ericsson has an army in R&D and that nearly 40 % of our calls go through an ericsson network and also nearly 1/3 of patents in this sector.
Bill, 06 Dec 2011I don't agree, I think we're much better off now in terms of choice, the future form of the ph... moreI am in the minority but a phone should fit your face like clamshells do plus i love pressing real buttons..Their is no desigh anymore so its easy for manufacturers to just bring out a screen and thats it..Things go round in circles and cant wait to get fones smaller again,,it will happen where smaller is better..Fold out screens will solve this problem by having a compact fone that fits in your pocket but allow a big screen to just be pulled out..
