Hehe, nice! It seems that devices you wouldn't expected will get some ICS taste. My Bravo is running ICS for more than a week now, and this stuff is flawless. :) I just hope more manufacturers/devs will get the real droidsperience on our smartphones.

> In reply to lol @ 2011-12-12 06:51 from 0CYB - click to readAnyone who's been keeping up with tech biz numbers knows Huawei is huge. But still all the same, smartphones aren't technically Huawei's core business. Being relatively new at that they don't yet enjoy the sizable financial and brainpower R&D resources that Samsung (being a seasoned smatphone player by now e.g) has per se.
Which makes this surprise piece impressive indeed.

see if all those big names like htc and samsung goes with AOSP 4.0 they would have been one of the first to release updates for their phones. they are late because of touchwiz and sense~~

> In reply to etotherescue @ 2011-12-12 05:34 from kPnH - click to readI don't know. It seems up to the manufacturers to release what kind of rom they want. Like this honor, maybe, the term "Beta" means it's a stock version while the release version latter will be huawei version? The purpose? To give the user ICS experience as soon as possible, and give them the huawei taste latter on when the huawei version is approved/certified. Can we think that way? Just my thinking though :)

Huawei is making an EXAMPLE of what an manufacturer is supposed to be and do....I hope everyone will release ICS for their devices since a more modest manufacturers is giving this to all their users...

Im a bit confused. Will all ICS devices be stock ICS or will they have manufacturers custom skins? Because the honor had gingerbread with a huawei skin.....not stock gingerbread. What is on the pictures looks like stock ICS.
