as far as i appreciate the latest and the old nokia phones, this one just looks imbalanced, may be the final product would look good, and may be then they would even have a better symbian !?
for a successor of an N8, i would suggest, all the key features of it, +a led flash and a xenon flash, led is for different set of lighting, and can be used for recording as well. where as we need a better camera 12 or more! if nokia gets their shape and colors right, then the phone will be a new flagship phone next year! and il make sure im the 1st to buy it!

this is a bold step by nokia. I was getting tired of my n8. Bring it on. I hope the n803 will not be quite larger than the n8. It must also have the fm transmitter. I hope they will improve the email downloading period. Otherwise the n8 is the bomb.

To tell you the truth folks this phones does not have impressive specs. If nokia launches this as the successor of N8 I will be really disappointed at them.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2011-12-16 02:39 from PGif - click to readI think he meant "Sony Bravia Engine".
This is the technology seen in all Advanced and Latest Sony Cameras which are instilled in some of the SE Experia phones (NOT ALL)
This would include the eXmore and the 3D sweep capabilities found only in Sony Cams.
The problem with the SE Experia Designs are the manual focus which are not existing in most of the Experia phones.
Nokia still has an edge in terms of User Experience for Camera Phones but I don't think they are the best given the specs and the technology used by other phones such as Sony Ericsson.

> In reply to Motaz @ 2011-12-15 15:02 from LbHJ - click to readSymbian does not need a quad core CPU you foolish, it can run smoothly with a low specs, that's why almost Symbian phone has a long life battery only with a 1200Mha in comparison to the other platforms, do you not know any thing about Symbian? I do not know about Donna but, now, 1Gh CPU with 512Mb RAM is enough for Belle. Why do people must be in a CPU's frequency race? I wanna a phone I can use efficiently with a long life battery!

N8 successor will be a camera phone.
A lot of people here mistake that for smartphone.
Please use your brain before typing.

Really Look Ugly .
But what i concern is the Spec of the phone.
At least remain all the spec in N8, Which is not i Window phone.
Card Slot,
Secondary Camera,
Bluetooth Files Transfer (Image, Video, Music...)etc
Please increase the quality of the phone like :
Better Batteries (Longer Time for Web browsing, Music, Video, Stand-by, Talk Time ...)
Excellent Camera,
Highest CPU,RAM,ROM (Match or Better Than other Competitors)
Window 8 OS.

That may probably an exmor but its not the exmor they put on their digicams/DSLR, that only is the low-end version.
Please try to compare xperias cam to nokia 8MP vs 9MP of N8, youll see big difference.
