Optimus Black already has it's 2.3 update available in selected area's just the same. The Optimus One (a budget phone for what it's worth) was even one of the first phones to see a 2.3 update, far before Samsung, HTC, let alone SE or Motorola.

That's not a bad price at all, contract free, with nice specs. I would be happy if it was available in the U.S. for this price.

So the rich folks in Europe and Asia have a shiny new toy to look forward to.

We geeks would rather sit and wait for a more "wallet-friendly" phone to buy.
