I don't think that apple will change the design after all people are just getting used to the squareish design.

If this is released fall of 2012, which by that time the competition from ALL OS's will have mid-tier models comparable to the Iphone 5 which itself is going after the likes of much more powerful superphones with the Apollo and Jellybean OS looking to take phones into the next generation. If we have to wait a year for a modest screen size increase of 4 inches and a modest uprade of features, dual core 1.2 ghz then this is complacency at best. I really think the deal breaker will be IOS6 where the only true reason to upgrade is that Siri becomes partially self aware and has the ability to control home wi-fi enabled devices. I would expect some peripherals to at least come with this advancement. Coming to think about it, a more intelligent Siri will be the SOLE reason to upgrade to the next Iphone 5.
