Redesigned next-generation iPhone to launch next year in fall - read the full textIt was just a couple of months ago that the iPhone 4S was launched and the rumors for the next iPhone have already started crawling out of the woodwork. It was just for a couple of months that rumors of the next iPhone were NOT flying all over the web.

Been that, seen that. And a thousand other "sources" who all *knew* back then that the iPhone5 would be released and that it would have a larger screen, whatever-body design and unicorns and rainbows.

Will believe the next iPhone when Apple says its the next iPhone

however i don't see how aluminum would interfer with the signal, i'm not familiar with the ipad, however if it's made of aluminum and if it were to interfer with the signal surely they'd be problems with the 3G version...

No camera flash? I'd say it's not real just like most of the other rumours you're going to feel the need to post about over the next year.

Aluminum, platinum or adamantium whatever.... Let us know when it'll get a 4" screen, 1900 - 2000mAh batt AND an official green light for the jailbreaking community. Then MAYBE this will a rumor to look out for.

this rumors seems very familiar to my ears. in 2011 there was such words about iphone5: new design, larger screen, etc. but at last iphone 4s was introduced instead of iphone 5 ... ha ha ha... history always has been repeated.

It looks like the horrible abomination they call the iphone is coming to an end. I remember when it first came out it was cool and different, now all i see is clones everywhere saying "Hey nice iphone i have one too". Apple isnt even worth it with so many other options out there like Samsung galaxy s2, Sony ericsson xperia arc s, Nokia lumia...etc. It just looks like Iphone is now compying other phones im sure they'll make a new phone with bigger screen and what not but Android is by far the best out there right now.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2011-12-28 07:48 from IV8U - click to readits huge difference, Samsung give the customer options of devices to choose, they have enough time for announcement and presenting the phone... when Samsung released the high end phone in 2010 it was Galaxy S1 i9000 and year after the released S2 i9100... U want to talk about scam OK how about i'm iPhone 4 owner and i can’t get Siri in my phone because Apple think if they include this feature in iPhone 4 no one will buy iPhone 4S!!!! now that’s scamming people

What was horrible about all the iPods I owned were the aluminium backings that made the device scratched and dented... Oh the horrors...

I think that if Apple goes for a classic design now it will look like it's copying the other producers. They will do something extreme, like they always do. I think the image in the article is just a modified IPad back. Aluminium is a bad idea for a phone. The phone will have to be thicker. You know every producer goes for thinner these days. What i see for the next IPhone is:
- more powerfull cpu(they might release an A6 with IPad 3)
-bigger screen and better resolution (the Iphone's 3,5 is too small for what the users want from a phone these days)
-larger capacity battery to power the screed and the phone in general
- more ram
- 4G(finally)
We are in for a lot of rumors till the release, and they just signify what we don't like about this model and what we see other people doing. The phone it will have to beat is the Samsung Galaxy S3. I think Android phones will get better in the next year and will make the new Iphone look small. Wake up Apple!!!
