Have you ever heard about Toshiba? About Sharp? Both companies have 12 MP camera phones(Android). Altek Leo has 14 MP.

Even if this is the S3 sample (highly doubt it), the camera can be improved. Notice the Bvlgari text on the bottle isn't all that clear.

Maybe it's better if the camera has 5 megapixels and has a very good lens inside. It's not the megapixels that counts it's the lens inside of a camera!

If u see the size of the file is 493kb.
That means this is a cmpressed or maybe scaled pic cz 5mp smartphones take pics of 1mb+ size.
So this isnt a raw pic.
But this can easily be a fake too cz flash used column says yes but the enviroment seen in the pic doesnt need any flash. So either flash was forced to be on or someone is s***wing with the tech blogs.

this 5mp could shoot 1080p at 60fps if it did it would be better then a normal 8mp or 12mp
MP only increases the size of image
5mp is good enough for most people but not for reporters

Dear GSMA
The number of megapixels (MP) a camera has has very little to do with how the image looks. Even worse, plenty of lower MP cameras can make better images than poorer cameras with more MP.
Stop spreading the "lies" :-P

Look at the depth of field. Too narrow for a phone's camera.
