This is the most worthy 8xxx series phone that has come out in years. Finally the features 'begin' to match the price tag.

Having had the 8800 scirocco for a year and finding it a great phone, I can only expect this to be as good,I wont buy this phone but get it on contract.
Yes I think the price is high, but! like some one said its better then having a throw away phone,
I was looking at the samsung F700 and the LG viewty,The Iphone is not an option because of a 18 mth contract,
But This Nokia does what it says it does and no more.
I like this phone :o)

Actually, sapphire crystal is not that expensive... they use it in watches all the time... the bulk cost of something the size of a watch face is only about $10... So for high end phones there's really little excuse for them not to use sapphire crystal for the entire display face since it's seriously scratch proof. Personally I'm not a big fan of having goat hide on my phone.

I have known people have 8800s for a couple years intense phone use and still be able to use them - they are very well made and in a busy business life can prove to be an excellent phone to use - much better than an endless stream of cheap throwaway plastic handsets

"if you cant afford this phone, dont buy it"
ummmm, really....was this commecnt necessary?
well i have to admit the phone looks fantastic, but the materials used could never amount to that.... waste of money in my opinion... do you really think having this phone is gonna improve your image, make you more popular?? if you feel you really have to have this phone....you really need to take a step back and have a wee look at your life

too expensive, simply a fashion handset.. you'd have to be completely materialistic to buy this phone.. or just daft for, people should be ashamed of themselves for buying handsets like this!!!

"Prices are reasonable" in comparison to filling my fuel tank. And yes, I drive a tank.

considering the configs of this thing.. i just might go in for a ps3 , a sony bravia, a reasonably good handset and get my pocket stitched .. lol

just post your comments regarding the phone, no need to insult one another. no one's forcing anyone to buy the phone. if you like it or don't like it, just be civil about what you write

This should not be a fashion phone. They should call it "smartphone". Do you know why? It has "accelorometer" did I write it wright? When somone is calling you, you can just put the phone's face down to make it shut up! furthermore, it has 3 megapixel and 1 gig.! Cheers nokia!
